There is this delusional notion floating out there that everyone is equal, or at least that we must believe this. In my view, that is not the case at all. Science tells us different. Nature tells us different. And yet we carry on like idiots, stumbling further AWAY from any kind of peaceful co-existence by artificially trying to achieve equality through this ham fisted “we are all equal” bullshit. It’s all such a waste of time and is only exacerbating the problem.
Equality, as it is currently treated, is a juvenile concept. There is no across the board “equality” when it comes to human beings. “Equality at WHAT?” is the question no one ever asks.
Are men and women equal? At WHAT?
Are the races equal? AT WHAT?
Are ideologies equal? AT WHAT?
Are religions equal? AT WHAT?
Of course, there are equivalencies in many areas .. but taken to precise levels of examination, there are mathematically provable answers to every question. Which race performs best at X task? Which sex? Which age? Which level of education? Which country? Which ideology? There are answers, in many cases, statistical answers, which are undeniable. The reasons for the findings may be up for debate, but the findings themselves are not.
Instead of accepting these realities and making them part of our collective strategy, we instead melt down over the simple truth that maybe, just maybe, the sexes have different strengths and weakness .. and maybe, just maybe, races born at opposite ends of the world have the same: different strengths and different weaknesses.
Can you imagine the laughter the intellects of old would have at our current “equality” predicament? We can’t even face basic reality, never mind form a cohesive strategy to deal with our problems. Instead of doing so, we just fight with each other, spurred on by social architects who WANT us fighting.
That’s the nastiest bit of this whole false equality thing: the people that push it KNOW it is false logic, and KNOW it will just serve to harm, rather than help. Sadly, a lot of people are taken in by it, not seeing that the seemingly well-intentioned “we are all equal” is actually a trojan horse, much like politically correct speech.
In summary: EQUAL AT WHAT? Once we acknowledge and embrace that we are NOT equal and each possess unique strengths and weaknesses, perhaps we can start to make progress.
If we were all the same, wouldn't it be rather boring?

This feels like a straw man argument to me. The concept of equality is patently not that everyone is equal; that would be preposterous. The concept of equality is based on the idea that ideally, everyone should be treated equally and without prejudice.

It's a preposterous notion .. but, ideally, we should guide our actions as though it's not?

I am not sure I understand your point. I think that the idea is that we give everyone the same opportunities, regardless of demographics.

I agree with that idea .. that everyone should have the same opportunities .. though I don't think that is what modern equality is about .. and that is what prompted this article; modern attempts to "equalize" things.
Modern equality is about handicapping certain classes of people for the betterment of others, or changing standards so that the "folks who couldn't quite cut it" are able to make it, due solely to the dropped requirements, all in the name of equality. It's a false equality and can only degrade things, as the best candidates (or ideas,or what have you) are cast aside in favor of the demographic du jour. I mean, US army qualification no longer includes hand grenades because millenials can't throw. I saw an article earlier today regarding a job at a university: no white men allowed! That stuff is everywhere now and is all being done in the name of equality and inclusiveness.

I agree broadly. "Positive discrimination" (as it is called) is still discrimination. Rejecting anyone based on demographic considerations is patently unfair.
I have a theory about all this.
If one assumes that equity and fairness is a baseline, then we have to look at that baseline historically. If we take - for example - racist inequities in recruitment for jobs, then I think we would both accept that for decades, if not centuries, those from ethnic minorities have been discriminated against. The line has been underneath the baseline, giving advantages to white people (well, white men, to be accurate), and this is not right. As society tries to deal with this problem, the line can veer in the other direction, giving an unfair advantage to ethnic minorities. This still isn't right or fair (and let's be honest, the system still broadly favours white men), but it seems to be a part of the process as we head towards the baseline that is fair and equal.
It will settle down, but a by-product of this process is that it will take time to do so.
I think that whilst you are right to highlight this perception of "equality" you still have to accept that the system still broadly favours those that it has always favoured.
The "Rooney Rule" brought into American Football managerial recruitment is an effective way to bypass this. It gives more people from an ethnic minority an opportunity, but whether or not they embrace this opportunity is based ultimately on merit.

I don't know if I agree that the system broadly favors those it always has. It does, but it doesn't. There are major systemic things in play that do not favor white nations. See Soros, Open Society Foundation leaks, etc.
Europe, as an example, is a total disaster, and the ones who have suffered have been the europeans. I read recently that Sweden is becoming (or IS) the rape capital of Europe: what was once one of the most advanced, peaceful places on earth is turning into a third world country. This is not progress. There are now no-go zones in many european countries, where the HOSTS, the guys trying to HELP, are attacked. It's just not working (and even the people who started all this craziness are admitting that.) Even Merkel said "we have a major problem here."
Also, if you look at affirmative action in the US, it has also been a total disaster. You cannot make one group stronger by tilting the playing field.. you can only make life easier for the weaker group, which is not something that helps them develop the skills to compete on a level playing field.
I think your ideas would maybe work if there were honest players, all around .. but they are probably in the minority. On the one side, you have political players (and social architects) who wield the equality issue like a weapon. They use it to get what they want .. maybe a bigger tax base, maybe voters, maybe repression of a demographic they are scared of, maybe passage of new laws to repress free speech. And on the other side, you have people who don't actually want to advance .. they just want free shit, a free place to stay, or a leg up.

Look, I am enjoying this, but you cannot drop in that you read "somewhere" that Sweden is the rape capital of Europe, followed by a long lament about that unless you have taken the time to investigate this.
It took me 30 seconds to debunk this claim:
https://www.snopes.com/fact-check/crime-sweden-rape-capital-europe/
And if you don't like Snopes, there are other sources that confirm this.
You have been caught by confirmation bias. Look, it happens to us all, so I am not getting on my moral high horse about it, but it shows your hand to some degree. You are buying into the bullshit of the right wing media, and the nonsense of people like Trump and Farage, and it is to your detriment. You lose credibility when you repeat fake news.
What's a "social architect"? I understand what you mean by this, but who are these people? I am having an exchange with someone at the moment who is referring to the "globalist elite" - tbh, I am a little fed up of hearing about liberal boogie men that seem to have this unworldly power to mold societies as they see fit.
You strike me as someone who is seeking a balanced view, but you need to be a bit more sceptical about what you hear, and more circumspect about what you are repeating.
Apologies if that sounds patronising, but I find this all very frustrating!

Yeah, I definitely do not buy into Snopes at all. Maybe that particular stat is BS .. but the principle holds. Are you saying that there hasn't been society changing levels of migrant induced crime throughout Europe? Are there not no-go zones?
Why is nationalism/populism increasing at such levels if everything is cool?
On the social architect stuff, that's a huge topic of discussion. I don't think I could productively bring you up to speed on it. If you don't see it at this point (in everything from TV to movies, to the type of censorship we see, to social policies), I don't think I'll be able to make you see. "Globalist elite" sums it up nicely.
No worries on patronization - if my statements are incorrect I deserve to be called on them.
