History has it that God had warned and punished the people by allowing a tyrant to rule them until there was a change of heart.
Africa, Nigeria as a case study if carefully studied, has been morally and economically bankrupted.
A mango tree can not fruit a pawpaw, whatever the nation experiences today in terms of leadership is a product of the belief system, norms, customs and traditions of the people.
Almost all the money used in building and gathering crowds at various worship centres today are stolen money by those in government and from various corrupt practices of the people.The Religious and Political leaders work hand in hand, majority of Political leaders have the backup of the Religious leaders.
The return on investment in the Business of exchange of followers for money is a huge one in Africa.
A country like Nigeria for instance is populated with about 200 million people, out of which a particular Religion has more than 60% of the population as believers.
The reason there are bad leaders in government is because the Religious leaders had already sold their followers in exchange of money to the Political leaders. This is why their businesses exponentially grow and they find it difficult to lead a protest and challenge bad leadership in government.
As an individual, how genuine is your source of income? The act of corruptly amassing wealth has become a norm in every Nigerian undertaking. What do you expect of a man in a leadership position who grew up from a family where the father's business is stealing?
SOLUTION
Unless the people desist from corrupt practices, by adopting a new and entire oriented system of leadership, Nigeria and Africa as a whole might continue to wallow in the roundabout Economic backwardness. God and nature might continue to allow a tyrant rule African Nations
