Collapsing trust in American institutions?

There's an entire right wing ecosystem that has been working to lower confidence in institutions for years. And Trump is at the vanguard of that. It shouldn't be surprising that we have had this movement while other places haven't.

We saw this on steroids during the pandemic. It was why it was so obvious that Republicans would respond how they would on the coronavirus and the coronavirus vaccine. And January 6th was what it was all building up to.

I'm sure there are other elements to it all. And I'm sure it isn't exclusively on the Right. But I think Trump has to play a major role in it all.

Even seeing the failure of Trump not being held accountable and SCOTUS attacking our rights have to be a part of it.

Come on. The institutions ARE getting worse. Every chance they get, Democrats want to delegitimize SCOTUS and denigrate whatever Rs do, and vice-versa
