Is It Racist? Black Georgia Mayor Bans White Reporters From Press Conference

The race for mayor in Savannah is turning to race.

A sign was hung prohibiting any of the white press from attending. This is where the racial situation in this country has gone.

Savannah has a white mayor for the first time in 20 years. Eddie DeLoach is seeking re-election since winning in 2015.

The ticket for this position is non-partisan. That means the top contenders are on the ballot regardless of party affiliation.

This is sad and simply perpetuates prejudice. We can never evolve if we still remain so far up our own asses - we keep making this distinction about race when indeed humans have the capacity to be horrible or amazing and the color of their skin is irrelevant. Such a waste is a closed mind.

Not allowing people to do their job and earn a living because they have different coloured skin is extremely racist. Journalism is rife with positive discrimination at the moment. Potential journalists are not allowed to apply for certain jobs because they are white also.

The mayor is doing this? Is that even legal? Anyway, the mental gymnastics done by some, to excuse their own racism, is beyond ridiculous.

Also why does the "black press" boycott cameras, or microphones? Lmao.
