HELLO FRIENDS! THIS IS MY FIRST POST AND HERE I'M TALKING ABOUT WHAT IS POLITICS?

*WHAT IS POLITICS?:-the term "politics" is derived from the greek word 'polis' which means the city states comrising thechurch university state all in one. it was the general form of political and social organisations.

• WHAT IS POLITICAL SCIENCE?:-the traditional political philosophers (janet,gettell,dicey etc.) regard the political science as a part of social science which treats the foundation of the states and the principles of government I.E.; origin and nature of state structrue of government (legislature,executive,and judicial),law,international institutions etc.

*WHAT IS NATURE OF POLITICAL THEORY?:-political theory includes a study of the evolution,nature,composition,necessity and purpose of the governmental appartus and also an understanding of the human perception and its relationship with the larger community. it is usually the desire for good life and a good society optimise and hope which are the major impetur for a worthwile political theory.

*WHT IS THE SCOPE OF POLITICAL SCIENCE?:-the traditional political thinkers have opined that political science is a study of man,a study of government,a study of the state in their various aspects and relationship. more recently the modern political scientists have widened the scope of political science and have developed new concepts like political culture,politicalsocialisation and political communication with a view to explaining the nature working development and decay of political structures and systems.
