the history of Pompei of an exceptional Narcissus fresco

I visit Pompei and in the domus where a few months ago the square of Leda and the swan had been found, a splendid fresco of the myth of Narcissus was discovered. The painting is located in the atrium of the luxurious house, alongside the figures of maenads and satyrs. Narcissus is depicted according to classical iconography, in the act of mirroring himself in the water, enraptured by his image.
