The world is flooded with crypto currencies. It is the modern way of selling air. Companies and people with disputable intentions offer a number of coins, some with proper Block Chain technology and some without.
Excellent sales people are able to create an expectation of incredible value growth and people without proper investment experience flock to put their savings into these scams.
The true fact is that as long as you cannot exchange these coins for FIAT money at the same value your supplier set on the coin, it is a scam.
As long as you can not spend the coins to purchase products and services at a price equal to the one you would pay with FIAT currency, it is a scam.
There are areas where crypto currency is working well. If criminals wich to send money across boarders, they can use BitCoin. Easy.
But, unless the coins are linked to places where you can use them for real products and services, unless you can exchange the coins for FIAT money, I would stay away from these coins
