An Agent Of Positivity.

Your having a terrible day.
Everything has started crooked.
You woke up late, scratched your new car on the parking lot, spilled your morning coffee on your favourite shirt and got told off by your annoying boss.

You are sitting all alone on a big table on your lunch break, sulking, feeling sorry for yourself for having such bad luck today. It feels like there is nothing that can cheer you up so you're just sitting looking at the floor.

Suddenly,a man sits next to you.

"Hi, I'm John, do you mind if I sit here?"
Asked the man in a calm and velvety voice.

"Hi, no problem"
you mumble slowly raising your head.

As your eyes meet John, you see a gentle warm smile on his face, the kind of smile that comes from the heart. Johns kind eyes are looking at you.

"Thank you for letting me share my lunch break with you, I'm new here and I would love your help in figuring out who is who around here"
Said John without a note of sarcasm.

Surprised by the unusual request , you think for a second 'what the heck, at least I will forget about this day for a couple of minutes'.

You start explaining to John everything you know about this company and the people that work there. John is carefully listening with a occasional nod and that soft and gentle smile across his face.

The lunch break ends. " Thank you for helping me out , it was a pleasure meetin you,goodbye"
Said John with his deep soothing voice as he got up and walked away.

'That is one awesome guy', you say to yourself as you walk back with a smile to your office.
You sit and start working without even thinking about all the bad things that happend to you today...

Sometimes we meet people that make us smile, people that make us feel warm inside, people that make us feel safe and positive. There are moments we all need a John.

Sadly, kind, positive and grateful people are hard to come by.

If that is the case, then we don't have any other choice but to become a kind and positive person that can help others in time of need because the universe gives you back what you give it.

How to become a person that speads kindness and positivity in this sarcastic world?

Here I have 2 advices to share :

Learn to Listen

Listening is the most important communication skill you need to have to become a true influencer that can spread love and positivity.

Listening actively and feeling the speaker creates an incredible subconscious connection that helps both you, the listener, and to the speaker become closer and trust each other.

To learn how to listen simply listen , withou distractions and internal dialog just focus on the other person and smile.

Learn to Give

When you help someone just for the sake of helping its feels like you got a power up. This feeling increases your inner peace and positive vibrations.

This works even better when you feel bad, the helping hand and support bring positive energy into your body making both of you feel better.

Learning to give a helping hand is not simple, you don't want to let people with a victim mentality suck on your energy like a vampire.
It will only make things worse.

Create meaning for the other person. If someone is down asking him to explain something ,thus empowering and elevating him is a great way to really help someone.

In conclusion, spread positivity , be kind and supportive. The universe will pay you back ten fold.
