But I’m not the enemy! If they can have this effect on friends, then the enemies must now be throwing a hissy fit!
Strategy
To go into battle you must have a plan, a plan to win! This has been Populous game plan all along.
Strategy without tactics is the slowest route to victory. Tactics without strategy is the noise before defeat. – Sun Tzu, The Art of War
Those who did not “listen” to the Clif High/Stephen Nico Williams interview or read my post “Populous – Full Steam on the Spur Line?” will find that this may cost them dearly. Stephen is clearly “Planning for Success”.
Deception!
The Alpha was considered the theme going forward and when the Alpha was launched many were underwhelmed. Was this the best that Populous can do? The UX and UI felt so dated in this tech savvy age.
All warfare is based on deception. Hence, when able to attack, we must seem unable; when using our forces, we must seem inactive; when we are near, we must make the enemy believe we are far away; when far away, we must make him believe we are near. – Sun Tzu, The Art of War
Boom! When the new website recently came out all we can say was Slick! Slick! Slick! A website deserving of this new technological world. It is professional, it is clean, it is appealing, it is eye-catching and overwhelmingly the best out there!
If you do not know already, the link to the new website will be linked in my next Populous post.
Stealth
Like submarine operators who operate in radio silence and the Klingons who perfected cloaking, Populous have also mastered the art of stealth.
These military devices, leading to victory, must not be divulged beforehand. – Sun Tzu, The Art of War
Populous have been very quiet and operates mostly under the radar: no interviews, no observable marketing and no exchanges. There has even been communication silence within the Slack community until recently.
However, just like whales coming up for air, Populous will amaze and dazzle like it have recently done. When the PPT price balloons and the market capitalisation of PPT rockets skyward many will not realise what just hit them.
Playing for Keeps!
Populous know their competition very well and their business models are all the same. Populous' competitors all operate using outdated technologies and methodologies.
If you know the enemy and know yourself, you need not fear the result of a hundred battles. If you know yourself but not the enemy, for every victory gained you will also suffer a defeat. If you know neither the enemy nor yourself, you will succumb in every battle. – Sun Tzu, The Art of War
Populous will exploit these inherent weakness therein to their advantage and through the XBRL data set, Populous will knows things their competitors wish they knew.
It can be said that Populous know their own strengths and weaknesses as well as those of their competitors to enable them to win on all fronts.
In Conclusion
This is a multi-trillion dollar market in which Populous is entering so it is only right that a strategy is implemented and tactics employed. Deception and secrecy are paramount if they want to play in this space because there are many people out there who want to see you fail.
Now that launch of beta is imminent, the new website is certainly creating a buzz. Clif has mentioned Populous in a number of his recent interviews. Jim Willie recently mentioned Populous in his newsletter. The Rowlingstone.com also recently mentioned Populous in their latest/last free version of their report and Reggie Middleton of Veritaseum fame briefly brought up Populous in his recent interview with a YouTuber.
Just like the little boy who cried wolf, he cried wolf and the villagers came running. Each time we came, we were disappointed but this story will not end in teeth and blood. It will be the perfect fairy tale ending where we will all live happily ever after.
The world is starting to take note and all without much marketing. The proof is in the pudding as they say.

This is NOT Financial Advice
In my humble opinion, the risks to the downside are small compared to the potential upside rewards. This should not be construed as financial advice but an opinion only. As usual do not invest more than you can afford to lose as these investments can go to zero and always do your own due diligence.
Feel free to comment as you see fit below.
I like the congruencies drawn from the art of war to illuminate how populous has gone about bringing their mission to life! No doubt once populous is up and running, for their competitors it will be like a shark attack; too late!
