Amora - Portrait commission (the drawing process)

In the first post on this blog i used a picture of my sketch for a commission.

I finished it in two days but i started working on it after i was payed, so that's why it took me some extra days to post the finished portrait here.
I don't really know how to explain the process since everything is natural to me, i paint without thinking too much about it.

I did the sketch, painted over with the skin tone and the shadows for the eyes and then slowly building up her facial expression adding shadows, darker and darker.
Taking some brakes every now and then, noticing mistakes and then fixing them as good as i can.

And for the finishing touch i added the blue and pink light on the edges on the piece, the glow on her gems and eyes then cleaned it up.
And that was it! Ready to be sent to the commissioner.
