Portrait of Timothée Chalamet

in portrait •  5 years ago

Greetings friends!
A few days ago it occurred to me to redraw or portray with graphite, something that I had not done for a long time ... After the Inktober month, I was delighted with the technique of drawing with a pen and well I wanted to continue with this but with the traditional pencil of graphite, but I wanted something else, I came up with the idea of highlighting a color in that drawing and that's how I started this new challenge for me ...
I made my first drawing or portrait of the Franco-American actor Timothée Chalamet. His gaze caught my attention so I highlighted the green in the middle of his face in black and white ...
I was satisfied with the result ... =)

This is cool, I just started and your post really inspired me @juanzcorpion.

Thank you, I'm glad you like it and inspire =)

You have a very marketable illustration style. In this drawing, little pop of color really draws the eye and adds character to the portrait.

Thank you! Yes, this is what I want to do now, highlight only one color on a black and white face =)

The style of one color in an otherwise monochrome artwork or image is called "color splash"

Thanks! =)
