Cypress knees in a Florida swamp

Specs: Canon 2000 Rebel. Canon 40mm 2.8. Kodak Tri-X 400 pushed to 1600.

For my entry into @jasonrussel's "Outdoor / Environmental" portrait contest, I revisited a shot I took of the lead singer of the metal band Wage War on set of the music video I directed for "Stitch".

This was actually a nice sunny day but metal dudes love looking dark & mysterious, so I went with the pushed black and white film as a choice to give a mood to the environment and fit their aesthetic.
