I had the pleasure of photographing another friend a few days ago. Normally my friend-models are self-posing, being the interesting characters they are. It was the first time Karina was being photographed "in this way" apparently, so she asked me for direction.

I think it was just as strange for me since I hardly ever give direction when photographing people. I just ask them to be "natural" and see what happens.
As such, I didn't give that much direction to be fair. I pretty much gave one-word suggestions and asked her to look that part.
I think it worked out quite well to be honest. I got to see the different faces of Karina :)
In the end, after we were both quite relaxed, the unfailing energy of laughter produced my favourite shot of the day.
