I think though, that Oprah's statement is one made out of insensitivity and privilege. Oprah can afford to live any dream that she wants, while the majority of people in the world can't. They have to dream of much lesser achievements and much cheaper things for their lives. Why, the dream of living like Oprah does, for example, would be a pipe dream for the overwhelming majority of even her biggest and most devoted fans. So, her statement is kind of a dig on them in disguise, IMO.
Oprah can go on an African safari anytime she feels like it, for a dream adventure she can take, while most would have to settle for the dream and adventure of a day trip to a zoo.
