Here are some pics I took some time ago of the beautiful capital of my country.
All were taken near Terreiro do Paço a wonderful plaza near the river Tagus or Tejo as we call it.
The first one shows the intercate web of power cables that keep the old trams (2nd picture) running trough out the city. althought old and outdated, they make a great tourist attraction and still a pretty hefty means of transportation.
The third picture is of the main statue, placed on the center of the Terreiro do Paço plaza. This statue honors Dom José I, King of Portugal from 1714 to 1777.
