Fernando Alonso já subiu ao Toyota com o qual ele irá competir nas 24 Horas de Le Mans. O espanhol disparou por 40 minutos no teste para iniciantes da Resistência Mundial no Bahrein nesta manhã. Alonso compartilhou o carro número 8 com seu companheiro de equipe, o suíço Sebastien Buemi. Por mais de meia hora, Alonso visitou o circuito dentro de duas horas de teste da manhã. O melhor momento foi 1.43.709 na penúltima volta, 1,6 segundos do melhor tempo de Buemi.
