Eu fiz um post anteriormente sobre uma curiosidade matemática que acho tão interessante quanto inacreditável. E isso acabou me lembrando de outra curiosidade interessante e resolvi fazer esse post com uma pergunta pra ver quem acerta primeiro.
Eu quero saber quantas pessoas reunidas eu preciso ter para que as chances de duas delas terem a mesma data de aniversário (dia e mês) seja maior que 50%.
Em outras palavras, imagina que você está em uma festa com X pessoas e alguém chega pra você e faz uma aposta: “eu aposto com você que ninguém aqui aniversaria na mesma data do outro”
Aí você teria que saber se suas chances seriam maiores que 50%, a depender do número de pessoas na festa. Claro quanto mais pessoas tiver, maiores as chances de você vencer a aposta. Mas eu quero saber o menor número X que faz com que suas chances de vencer a aposta fique acima de 50%. Seriam 200? 300 pessoas? O que você acha?
