Creating Content as in blogging, vlogging, images, chatting or just anything that was
"consumable" by another human bring.
If I recall....
it was around winter of 96' when I was visiting my parents. I got on my dad's Desktop and signed into AOL. I went and visited Chat rooms which was all the thing back in that day. And I begin introducing myself to other people across the Country. I was mesmerized that I could talk to someone 2,000 miles away in California with the click of a button.
In those Early Days of Content Creation...
I would introduce myself to other people in the Chat Rooms. And gave long "dissertations" of what my Life was like, my hobbies, work and everything in between.( It was not until 99' that I consistently did this when my Dad gave me his Computer)
I did not Actually start Blogging until 2007...
when I came across a Site called the Warrior Forum ( the world's largest forum for Online Marketers). I learned from many people on that Site, and Blogging really became addictive to me. I think I ended up producing and managing 15 different blogs! Subjects ranged from Speaking Spanish to Clearing up Acne to Working at Home etc.... I monetized my blogs with Google adsense and CPA promotions and started making it a full time gig.
The Google Slap and the End of My Blogs...
Around 2011 or so Google implemented this thing called Panda where they switched their algorithms and many website and blog owners got so called "slapped" and taken off the first page of Search Engines. I was on the first page for "make free Money" for a number of years. But no more :(
Long Story short....
I then begin to produce my own video products and sold them on the Warrior Forum and did that for a couple of years. I got tired of that and ,viola, here I am at Steem.
It's been...
a long but worthwhile journey for me online , and I credit my first delve into Content Creation all the way back to 96'. And that was really a pivotal point in my Life where I found out I could create half way decent Content.
Anyway...
How about you when was the first time you created Content on the Internet ??? Let's hear it guys
Cool little story.
I used the Yahoo Chat Rooms back in the day, 1999-2000 I guess. Since then I had a short stint on Facebook but I'd certainly not call that content creation. I am no longer on any social media...
...Except steem.
I create some content here and there, and enjoy the process and interaction. Steem has been good to me on that front and so I'm happy and content to remain. I'be built some cool relationships.
These days I post a couple times a day here and curate for @curangel and @c-squared which keeps me busy enough.
It seems like you're an experienced blogger on the interwebs and I hope to run into more of your work.
Catch ya mate. :)

@robertandrew, I've started creating content on the Internet in the Year of 2016. It's always great to remember the days of Starting Point. Stay blessed.
