Check-up: 30/09/2016
Weight: 66,5kg
BF: 21% (+ 0,4%)
My second personal journey posts since I first started this blog, and some things have changed. I am working stricter with my food schedule. I still do enjoy my cheat days but am less cheating than before. I am actually beginning to snack on vegetables! Who would have thought that the biggest cheater I know, would consider carrots and tomatoes as a snack?
My rest days have also changed. As I talked about before, I think a fitgirl is a woman who cares about her health and body, and I wasn’t thinking about my health as much as I thought I did. I am now listening more to my body and giving it the rest it needs. That also means accepting the fact that I have to rest and can’t do as much schoolwork and exercises I want. It’s hard for an active person as me to stay in bed when you don’t want to but if I want to reach my (body) goals again, I have to listen to my body and not regret doing anything. And that’s an important lesson I got the last two weeks because I can’t change anything about the situation at this point. I can let that define me and whine about it, or I can accept it and go on with my life.
So my check-up this week wasn’t a surprise to me. I gained body fat. Yet, it’s not that terrible that I gained some, it was expected but it still bums me out. That’s why I’m going for a new schedule from now on, which will be made by my personal coach. It’s called a carb cycling schedule. Going for low carb days on my rest days and higher carb days when I need the energy for school or my weekly work-out. This way I can still maintain my progress and go for my goal which is 18% body fat and muscle definition.
When I’m fully recovered, I am allowed to start “bulking”, eating A LOT! That’s also the time I can restart my training schedules. I am very excited for that process because, after this muscle definition process, I want to gain more muscles. Why may you ask? Because I want to become a terrifying BEAST.
