When you are joyful, when you say yes to life and have fun and project positivity all around you, you become a sun in the center of every constellation, and people want to be near you. ― Shannon L. Alder
The Seven Day Positivity Challenge
Thanks for nominating me @foxyspirit. The challenge is to share something positive to our fellow Steemians for seven days. I believe that words are so powerful and when used the right way, it can definitely change, inspire or touch someone’s heart.
Mechanics:
My nominations: @chireerocks, @stevenwood (just met him recently and would love to read his version of this challenge), @supernovastaffy
P.S. Others may feel that this kind of post is repetitive but come to think of it, each and every one of us has something to share. If you’re done with this challenge, you don’t have to do one again. 😊
Sharing Positivity with the People around You
Once you choose positivity that doesn’t mean that you only need to practice it just within you, you also need to share this trait with others. You need to share the beauty of optimism with the people around you.
Sharing positivity is very easy. You do not have to jump off a bridge or do something dramatic in sharing this wonderful trait. Always be nice, kind and helpful.
You can easily do this by loving your parents, friends and family. Give encouragement when someone is feeling down. Cheer for them and stay beside them when they need you. You can also spread positivity by sending letters or gifts. A simple hug to someone who’s feeling down can totally make a difference.
One thing that you should avoid is GOSSIP. This is totally a NO, NO! Speaking ill about someone gives out a negative vibes. You also are hurting the person that you are gossiping about indirectly. If that person knows, he/she will definitely get hurt with you talking about bad things about him or her.
Let’s face it. You aren’t perfect either. You aren’t a saint. You will definitely feel grumpy and you might have hurt a few people but you can correct that. You can correct your mistakes. Say sorry and apologize to that person. By letting go of that negative feeling can give you a lighter feeling and gives you less worries.
The more goodness you share, the more that goodness it’ll bring.
Here’s an inspiring video about kindness and love.
Even though it's an insurance video it is a very strong video. This shows us all how we are to be with one another.

Thank you so much foxy! I love how the video depicts and expresses kindness. Thai Ads have very inspiring stories in it. I usually check them out once in a while.

A powerful video... I watched it once some years ago... A good choice for this message. It sometimes takes a lot to be positive, day in and day out, but every now and then you do receive your 'rewards'... Have a good day, @dawnsheree!! 😊🌼

Love this.
Gossip is poisonous to everyone — the subject, the listener and most of all to the gossip itself.
