The problem is you can get many views and few votes because the people who are seeing your posts don't have a Steemit account. So I think that interpreting few votes and a lot of views as a sign that your article has a problem is not always ok.

Downvoting a post can decrease pending rewards and make it less visible. Common reasons:

  • Disagreement on rewards
  • Fraud or plagiarism
  • Hate speech or trolling
  • Miscategorized content or spam
