Do you think I should follow you? Convince me

in post •  7 years ago  (edited)

Hey guys, you might not know it but I try to do a lot of manual curation. I do have some autovotes going for certain accounts that I want to continually support but they are very few. I am also part of the OCD project and a big chunk of my Voting Power, especially during these low price days, is very limited.

But the thing is, I realized sometimes - especially during these times that no one is posting - I go through 12 hours of my Feed within half an hour and even though I am following more than 300 people, most of them are high rep users.

I know that 99% of my follower base - More than 8,000 Steemians - is made up by minnows, but my following base is hardly 25% minnows, so I want to change that.

I don´t want my feed to become unmanageable where I´m not able to read some of your posts on a daily basis and I definitely don´t want to browse my feed for one hour and realize I haven´t got to the 4 hour old posts, you know?

Well, of course my post title was click bait. You don´t have to convince me of anything, but I had to get your attention somehow!

So let´s do this, why don´t you leave in the comment section a small paragraph with some info about what, how and why you blog about with a link to the post you are the most proud about - preferably one that I can still vote on A.K.A less than 7 days old - and I´ll read your comment, if I´m interested about the topics or the way you write or why you do it, I´ll click on the post, if I enjoy the post, I´ll start following you.

Why do I make such a fuzz out of this when I can easily just browse the newbie section and follow some people?

Well, I owe a lot to my follower base, you are the ones that participate in my contests, you are those who comment on my posts and votes on them and if you are reading this, you are probably already following me, so I want to start following those who are already engaging with me.

If my request of you leaving a comment on this post sounds outrageous - who does he think he is to have me commenting to see if I´m worthy of his follow? well then, you are missing the whole point of this post, but you are in your right to not engage here.

One more thing, a few days ago I had some negative feedback so I wan´t to make something clear: If you comment here, thank you so much I really appreciate it and rest assured that I will read it, but I am not obligued to vote on your comment nor vote on the post link you leave here, nor I must start following you just because you left a comment here. I appreciate the engagement and I try to encourage it a lot - between you and me, but also between other users - but I, as anyone else on this platform, am the owner of my choices and I choose to (not) vote or (not) comment wherever I want.

As I said, this is not only for you to interact with me, but also for you to read the comment section and to start following and interacting with the Steemians you have something in common or that you enjoy reading them. This is a chance for me to follow you, yes, but it is more important to get this chance to visit other people´s blogs and to follow them!

I will stop reading the comment section around April 4th - otherwise I would never finish :P -, I hope you get to see this post by then :)

Authors get paid when people like you upvote their post.

Hi @anomadsoul. I am Chamudi Liyanage a 14 year old girl from Sri Lanka. I've participated in some of your contests.

These days, me and two of my friends here on Steemit are planning to make Steemit a better place for the teenagers cuz we meet a lot of teens who does a great job but doesn't earn much.

Most probably, I am posting my life experiences and educational stuff and some other things.
Also I support those who post motivational posts and who try to help others.
And in the other hand, I am a big fan of anime but with the school stuff, I don't have much time to spend my time here on Steem.

Thank you!

Hey @anomadsoul. My name is Desmond and I am an active member from the Hong Kong community. I am also a member of OCD team. I want to help the minnows and the new Steemians from the cn community and I often resteem their good content. I am not a minnow and I am leaving my comment here not because I am looking for your upvotes, but I hope that you can reach out to their posts if you like.

Very short description:

Hi @jga. My teammate @lynncoyle1 actually sent me your post of the mathematical analysis. We both are in @abh12345's curation and engagement leagues and she expressed interest in learning how we could make it on to the curation league (so far we've only been contenders on the engagement league).

So she sent your post my way...hehe..let's just say your mathematical analysis went over both our heads! It looks like an insane amount of thought process involved and I do commend you on sharing. Math isn't one of Lynn and mine's favorite topic. :)

Thank you for sharing your depth filled analysis!

Thank you very much for doing this @beeyou! I'm so glad that we can both admit where our deficiencies lie, or perhaps it's simply disinterest... ;)

We have to keep an open mind @lynncoyle1. Or we will never make it on to the curation league. ;)

Fair enough! I do understand what's being said here, and what Asher says, it's just that my focus is elsewhere. Takes a lot of time doing what we do, and I think it takes just as much time focusing on doing well in the first League.

Hi @beeyou, I didn't know about the leagues, the contest seems to be very interesting.
My summary about curation rewards is:

  • Vote 30 minutes after the publication of the post.
  • Vote posts that have an actual payout of $0.00, or posts that you think will be very well upvoted (maybe developments on utopian).

You should check out @abh12345's curation league then @jga. Leave a comment for Asher saying you would like to enter. That's it. He does all the rest and you can see your results every Sunday. He has the same perspective on maximizing curation rewards. I hate to drop links off on someone else's post, but it's at the top of my blog if you want to check it out.

He also mentioned utopian and sndbox as good picks, but I feel that it has to do with one's interest here on Steemit. If your goal is to maximize curation rewards, then yes, hit all those accounts. It really isn't hard to find the posts to upvote on for maximizing rewards if that is the goal. Even looking at the bid-bot sites will give you ideas.

For others, like myself, curation rewards are not at the top of our priority list. A lot of members from our #newbieresteemday community share our upvotes with newbies and community members that volunteer their time, SBD, or SP to helping others. especially newbies grow on here. We also try to help with the @newbieresteemday account.

Making it to the curation league would be awesome one day, but at the moment, there are too many others we can help with our little upvote worth.

I agree with you, this is not my first priority. What I like is to educate the people about this blockchain, develop useful tools, and share my knowledge if it is useful for someone :)

In this process, I also have to learn a lot from the community and the curation a is part of this engagement. Thanks for your comment.

Two members of my team are also interested in learning about the blockchain and development tools. I did send your post over for their review too. I think they liked all those mathematical equations and analysis. Their mind works that way too. :)

Thanks for sharing your interest. It really does help in understanding this world of steem blockchain.

Hi @jga, I just wanted to introduce myself and say thank you as well for sharing your knowledge, even though it went way over my head haha

You should really join Ashers' Curation League; you'd love the stats I think, but also there's a wonderful group of people there that you could meet as well!

Cheers!

  • I post about once a day about Steemit, homesteading, politics, ...
    • I have a unique writing style developed over 20+ years of webmastering.
      • I have a unique perspective towards Steemit, since I was jumped into webmastering at the very early days of the Internet and find Steemit to parallel what I saw then. History is repeating itself. Most on this platform today will be blown away once the big money starts chasing Steemit eyeballs...

Latest post you should find interesting...

Hello @anomadsoul my name is henry, 24 and venezuelan... honestly I've been following you since a couple of days soo maybe that doesnt makes me worthy of you following me... but perhaps you will like what I do, so why not xd I'm an artist, sculptor and I'm discovering my passion for the wood, i also like to think and make other people think as well. Im into some poetry, education, esoterism and anthropology (this are the topics of the coming posts so wait for it). Hope you like it and enjoy it✌✌✌

https://steemit.com/english/@henryconache/saying-hi-to-slothnicor-wach-me-undressing-the-wood

Pd: this post is a litle introduction as well so... Casualty bonus xd

Hi @henryconache. Your wood artwork is really cool! I look forward to you sharing more of your wood art. I have a tree stump on my yard that I want to turn into something beautiful, but alas, no artistic talent for me.

Thanks for your comment and support👍👍👍 you won't be disappointed with the things I do ( i hope so xd)... its never too late to start doing something artistic. Van Gogh used to said that "if you want to be active (in anything), one must not be afraid to do something wrong sometimes, not afraid to lapse into some mistakes" so just give it a chance ✌✌✌

I would do so if I had a small bit of artistic talent! Hehe. That's why I admire the artists out there that put a part of themselves into their work. Thank you for the words of encouragement...perhaps one day I could start with learning photography. That is safe enough. I am pretty sure I would end up hurting myself with a dremel tool if I tried wood artistry.

Jajaja well I guess that a camera is less dangerous that a hammer xd

When we first joined steemit, people were telling us to choose a niche. We listened, and decided to blog on what we loved most, that is travelling. But we took it a step further, as we ONLY blog about Japan Travel. That is the only country that we really like to blog about. We realised this may be too niche a niche. Travel is a popular tag, but Travel + Japan may be too specialised. We wanted to share the beauty of Japan and make known to more people around the world. So, besides writing about our Japan travel experience, we also started a weekly digest where we select and curate posts from different authors on their experience.
https://steemit.com/japan/@jrvacation/travel-japan-weekly-digest-seventh-edition-week-7-sakura-sakura-sakura
We are at Week 7 now.

It was tough for us when we first started steemit too. And I still remember the first big vote that we gotten was from you @anomadsoul.
https://steemit.com/my2017/@jrvacation/my-2017-new-year-vacation-2018-in-japan-again
It was your my2017 contest. We made a post, a mistake, you corrected us, and even gave a big vote. It was the first time we gotten such a vote value and I can tell you, that single vote gave us the support and confidence to continue blogging in steemit. Just want you to know that a vote from youself or any whale to a minnow has such huge impact. It is that single vote that decides if a minnow is staying or leaving the platform. Thank you!

You have a good point. Even my favorite authors who specialize, for example in cooking, still post something about life or travel. It caters to the needs or wants of a wider range of audiences. That way, they don't lose their readers but attract more from other niches.

Just want you to know that a vote from yourself or any whale to a minnow has such huge impact. It is that single vote that decides if a minnow is staying or leaving the platform.

That's very true, i joined steemit early January and luckily I think that was the period @anomadsoul organised the contest my2017, I did the post and got an upvote from him and @surpassinggoogle which gave me over $5 upvote and i felt so happy because that was my highest pay as at then, even my introductory post didnt give me up to $1

Hi @inspiredgideon1. Happy to see you engaging around. I remember you from our #newbieresteemday community. You are definitely not a newbie any more! :)

Hahahaha why do you think am no longer a newbie @beeyou
I do visit #newbieresteemday once a while to encourage newbies

Hi @jrvacation. I commend you on finding a niche for your steemit experience. The weekly digest you have is awesome. Some of our community members have the same concept, but our focus is more on highlighting the posts of newbies starting here on steemit. We have some wonderful members reading and highlighting posts of those newbies that are trying their best to write good content. Very similar to your weekly digest.

Happy to see another community-focused initiative.

Hi @anomadsoul! Its nice to meet you first of all... I have heard @abh12345 mention you in some of his posts, so any friend of Ashers is someone I respect!

Second, thanks to @doomsdaychassis calling attention to this post and asking me to contact you about our project #newbieresteemday... I could go on and on about what we are doing, but I will make it brief and explain how it pertains to this post of yours.

Essentially we are a group of people that support helping the newbies get established, we define this as having a reputation of 45 or less. Most of us are still minnows ourselves so we have limited voting power and not much to give other than our voice. But we have grown organically to have over 200 people associated officially with us, and many more that are unofficial.

We do various projects to help these newbies along...

  1. the main project is our @newbieresteemday account upvotes and resteems the top 10 posts of newbies each day on our feed #newbieresteemday. We have about 7 curators who follow that feed and are trying to give a small upvote to encourage and promote good behavior. We only have 500 SP delegated to it, but we also have about 40 people trailing the vote, so we give a double digit upvote to those posts and lift up quite a few each day. We also "discover" good posts and strong people and feed them to the likes of "curie" when we find them.

  2. we have a sister project called @newbiegames... This is newer and we are trying to encourage people to host games and contests for newbies and minnows so that they can discover the engagement in a different way. We focus on fun and them earning something by playing so that it is a win win. This account only has 100 SP which was leased by us through the market just to give us a small upvote and enough bandwidth.

  3. our newest sister project is @greetersguild which is a place that is home to actual "human" greeters to the newbies when they arrive. We have about 20 or so greeters that find the time to actually read the posts of the newbies and respond directly and give them help and guidance. This project is only a few weeks old, but will be the feeder group to many since the people inside this program are essentially personalized mentors directly on a one on one basis.

Newbie Resteem Initiative also has a discord server that has many interactions all the time. And we help people with problems or steer them in the right direction. We also are open to coordinating with many other groups and encourage our members to participate with many groups. We are currently working with @asapers @helpie @cryptoempire and @apolymask on his IFC program.

I hope this helps briefly explains what we do, and regarding your post issue, I think we could definitely help you to get new blood. If you tell me what you are looking for and how you would like to receive those people, we will be honored to send people your way. You can ask @abh12345 or @danielsaori and they can tell you that we can deliver you fresh eyeballs. So just let me know and I would be happy to connect many to you!

You can get me easiest on discord and my username is davemccoy#2479... but I also do my best at checking messages here so of course you can reply here as well! Thank you for your time @anomadsoul, and again @doomsdaychassis thank you for the heads-up on this post!

I vouch for @davemccoy too. The collaboration between Dave's project and the @asapers are important and good for the growth of Steemit as a platform, but more importantly, for the growth of newcomers and minnows. Things will be even better in the near future, I'm sure of that!

Even though I could ask you, @anomadsoul, to follow the @asapers and support our project, I'd rather highlight three of the asapers members, individually instead.

All of them are extremely talented and vital for the @asapers existence. Any form of support to these three individuals, any other asaper-member or to the @asapers would be highly appreciated.

(Sorry for hijacking your post Dave.)

Thank you so much for that @hitmeasap! I'm glad you saw this, but what you said here was not my intention, even though it was awesome of you to do it! Now I have one more reason to continually thank you ;) And if I know @davmccoy like I think I do, he will be more than happy to share the limelight!

haha... you didn't hijack anything of mine and you are welcome to always post or comment on anything I do @hitmeasap! And thank you for you nice comments and I respect you asking for those 3 to be supported as they are all great choices too! :)

Thank you so much for the call out. I saw this post and started scrolling through the comments only to get overwhelmed but the sheer number and I don't even have to make the choice lol. @anomadsoul you were the first person to ever pay any attention to my posts woth your 2017 contest. You gave me the confidence to believe in the platform and deal with months of little or no recognition.

As stated above I am part of the @asapers, as a group we find and share undervalued posts, whats different about us is that we then also share 10% of the posts with each of our curated posts. So 30% goes directly to the curated authors. We have very little SP and am pushing hard to get us to 500SP.

However, Given I only have just over that due to two very generious delegators @hitmeasap & @erodedthoughts, and we give away aportion of our posts SBD. Growth is slow but preserve we will.

We would love your support as by supporting us, you are supporting the plankton community as a whole. Side note, I would never say no to you following me directly. 😉

Good luck with making your choices.

I too am in full agreement with @davemccoy!! Being a member of the same groups, Dave said exactly what I feel :)

I simply wanted to add that @hitmeasap created @asapers, but I know that @insideout, who does so much there was hoping for a little external support because she writes a multiple-times/week newsletter called "READ ME ASAP" where we find three member's undervalued posts to upvote and showcase.

Thank you @anomadsoul for this and all you do here :)

The Queen... Thank you so much I knew you would never miss a chance to be helpful! ;)

Happy to do it Dave! Your comment here was perfect...and it was much more than a simple "comment" :)

Hi @anoumadsoul
I can only second @davemccoy’s reply here. No way in the world would I be able to put it into words in a better way.

@davemccoy, you keep surprising me with your passion and energy, although you’d think I’d be used to it by now ;0)

lol... thanks @simplymike... you are too sweet! :)

I vouch for @davemccoy my friend @anomadsoul. He's got his heart in the right place and doesn't spam your feed which is also a good thing :P

Thank you very much @spiritualmax! :)

Way to go team! My support is with @davemccoy. I would have written the same thing but he already took the time to do so, much better than I could have done.

Thank you @beeyou! :)

I vouch for @davemccoy! He has been doing a lot for the newbie community from the time he started. He is good at connecting different people, a motivator and a leader as well :)

Thank you so much my future whale friend... You are awesome @wanderlass!

Hi @davemccoy! Wanted to ask you about the greeters guild. Was something that I am interested in and was wondering what it pertains.
Also, I am helping out a friend who just signed up and I am trying to guide her but I feel like she could get more information from you. I am not so great at explaining things as I would hope to. If you get the chance, maybe see about inviting to the the newbie posts? @crystal-creation, she started posting just yesterday. She was having login issues yesterday through the app as she was trying to edit her posts. Anyways, when she is back on, I will try to guide her towards you and the group as well. :)

Hey @foxyspirit... the general idea behind @greetersguild is that we greet the newbies as soon as they introduce themselves and do it in a "human" way... We read their post, respond appropriately, and also help them find where to go and what to do. We have also found some really good newbies there and been able to nurture them so they don't get lost... If you want to go their discord room and talk to @terminallyill or any of the others, they are a welcoming group for sure ;) Here is the link: https://discord.gg/DmVdzsJ

And I will stop by and say hi to @crystal-creation and let her know that she is welcome to ask me anything! Plus don't be afraid to get her on discord, she can DM anyone anytime for a question to be answered as well as ask any of the groups any questions too.

Hello @anomadsoul. My name is Alex, and I'm a 28 years old circus artist from Croatia. My complete financial life income comes from performing, leading workshops, and organizing festivals that are connected to circus skills, such as juggling, acroyoga, object manipulation and clowning. There are a lot of countries around the world where circus as a way of life is very common and usual (France, Spain, Germany, USA, etc.). But here in Croatia, there are all together less than a hundred circus artists, and the circus scene is in its pioneering moment. Croatia is not a very enlightened or developed county, and being a circus artist here is not very common. I've been doing circus for the last nine years, and for the last three years I can finally completely live from this. I dedicated all of my life so I could bring happiness to people, and live life in constant training. Recently I've made an incomplete intersection post of my nine years long performing (there's a lot of stuff missing, cause I have to find it), which you can see here:

https://steemit.com/story/@loop.cirkus/a-brief-history-of-performing-photo-story

Most if the things that I've posted are with my girlfriend Diana, because we're working together. We're here on Steemit because we want to promote circus art, connect with other circus artists, art enthusiasts, free thinkers, permaculture practitioners and all the people with a good vision and motivation.

Our current life motivation is to make a straw bale house in the countryside, to escape from the city, for what we'll need a few more years; connect and educate about the health benefits of circus as a sport in Croatia; produce high-quality performances with positive message to the audience.

Thank you for your time. :)

Hi @anomadsoul I am excited that you have asked for more interaction from minnows. I started on Steemit early January 18. I wasn't seriously writing until recently. I am now on a 21 day writing challenge to improve the quality of my content. I am really into personal finance and family finance which I am going to write more on. Family, kids and parenting as also part of what I write as I have two very young children. I am also looking at possibly writing more about entrepreneurship and business as I have been running my recruitment company for the last 13 years. It has been a real wonderful experience engaging with Steemians over the last 3 months and I am so looking forward for the rest of the year! I really believe in Steemit and have also personally invested in STEEM and hope to be able to learn the ropes around here. I am excited to possibly have the opportunity to connect and engage with you.

My recent post which I am proud of is as follows and it has also been featured in the recent daily Whistle Stops by The Steem Engine

https://steemit.com/steemit/@khimgoh/quesney21-day-3-an-analogy-for-your-steemit-wallet

Thanks again for continuing to make Steemit an awesome place for everyone!

I wasn't seriously writing until recently. I am now on a 21 day writing challenge to improve the quality of my content.

That's an awesome decision to take in order improve your writing skills. Am a final year statistics student in the university but my hobby is the world of writing and that may turn out to be my hobby.
I improve daily on my writing skills by ensuring i post at least 5 times a week on steemit and that has really being of great help to me.
Wishing you a great success on steemit and greater success in the company you are running.

Thank you very much for your encouragement. It is proving tough but very fulfilling for me indeed.

Toughness builds tough people to assist others in their own tough situation.

Hi @anomadsoul,

We joined Steemit recently and our main interest is Travel and capturing experiences.

We met over 10 years ago as housemates and we've since been living in different countries France, Ireland, Canada and Australia and have travelled quite few countries (not as many as some people may have as we are not necessarily racing in the country count) around the world and have a project to take-off for extended travel sometimes.

We are not the typical 20 years old round the world globetrotters/backpacker/gap year that may race to step foot in as many country as possible - but more over 30y and want to inspire that it's never too late to discover the world.

We are embracing Steepshot at the moment to share shots of our travels along with stories (so not the typical photo and 3 words but more of a story with it) and blogs and videos will come soon as we are getting them ready. We know that Steepshot may have the perception of being a "lazy" way of posting but we disagree as we carefully select shots, craft our story writing and build a nice feed to take readers on our journeys.

Maybe you'd like to be part of our readers ;-) if not we will continue to post anyway :-P

Enjoy reading the 225 comments sitting here so far!

Having issues adding our link to our best post:
https://steemit.com/post/@nomadsfix/web-2018-2-2-22-10-11
Why - Because it is a shot we took in one of our frist trip together overseas, it was a special moment to spot this animal but while it didn't get much upvote this post engaged and we had human conversations with some steemians in both languages that we speak.

I dont want to convince you but all the steemians out there , i have the most failure stories in certain areas of life . Which i am bringing over time . One of the first posts is here : https://steemit.com/cryptocurrency/@doctalk/crypto-noobs-week-01-22-01-2018

if this help you , please follow me . And also you may comment to my latest post/s with your link so that i may check and follow you back .

thanks a lot (Upvoted for attention)

Hey @anomadsoul! Since your asking directly I'll explain briefly what I do here.

Firstly I blog and write, like most of us do, about various topics, whatever I feel like writing. Many times my blogs are born spontaneously as a result of my regular encounters or events in life.

My Life

Civil Service is the most prominent part of my life at the moment so you can expect me to make further posts of it and all. A lot of the times I'm trying to think what I want to do with my life after the service, I know I'll at least take a gab year and go for a biking trip at least, but what then? That's what I'm trying to figure out, in my blogs also; to find a way to live this life best suited for myself.

While the mandatory service isn't always exciting, at least there is my new traditional Finnish string instrument, kantele, which I've been playing and learning a lot. Recently I even streamed me playing it and I'll do more of that in the future for sure!

In some occasions I write about crypto or analytical on a philosophical matter. Sometimes I might spark up a fiction or a poem even! You (or I) will never know what will come up!

I guess that's a pretty good sum up for my doings here. Gotta love the man who puts the time to skim all the small minnows in a vast sea!

Hi Eric. I started going down your commenters list to see who I too would like to follow before posting my own comment. Problem is, you have so many commenters! I decided to make my comment (while I am inspired to write) and come back later to read the comments.

BeeYOU is a team account so I'm not sure if you would be interested in following us. It is me (Paula) on here 95% of the time but nonetheless, it is shared. I don't have much time to write to be honest. I only write when I am inspired by one thing or another or when it is #newbieresteemday community related. Or when I (or my teammate) have a contest we would like to host and promote engagement with our newbie community.

A post that probably explains more about me and why I am here on steemit is this one:
https://steemit.com/newbieresteemday/@beeyou/words-of-thanks-to-the-stewardsofgondor

I've also written a post entering your role model contest some months back, link below (apologize ahead for the second link drop):
https://steemit.com/newbieresteemday/@beeyou/a-role-model-steemian-welcoming-newbies-to-steemit-the-right-way

The last we spoke, you shared some thoughts about revisiting Guatemala. I will have to find some time to scroll through your blog to see what your feelings and thoughts were when revisiting a memory of the past. I hope there were no gun scenes this time around?

Time flies by on here. To be honest, I am not much of a blogger or social media person. My only reason for being here is because of the wonderful team members I've met with the Newbie Resteem initiative. They all have such selfless caring hearts and they are the reason I come back here day after day. It really isn't because of my earnings that's for sure! Please don't look at the payouts..my support system are too small for the payout to stem from organic growth.

I'm gonna make this short and easy to read:
What do I blog? I wish I could answer that! I always write about what's on my mind at the time, from a trip I made years ago to the geek dentist post (also i love life hacking tips, so).
How do I blog? I blog from everything that has internet connection! I used to do a post per day, now i try to make at least 2 per week, quality over quantity. Lately i've been exposing myself, by trying to ACTUALLY WRITE.
Why do I blog? I started like most of the venezuelans: with the idea of dealing the economic crisis in the country. With time, I started caring.. I decided to remark the beauties of my country (with my travel posts) so everyone can see that we're more than needy people and a devastated country. Then it got more interesting, I started making friends, reading them was getting to know them, posting photos was showing them my day to day. When I thought it was "just a blog", I started challenging myself, and started writing down and expossing feelings, as i barely did here, so now it's a way to challenge myself and see how creative I can be.

I guess that's all.. For now!

I have also focused on quality over quantity. This may mean fewer posts per week but as we practice on writing quality content, we will develop the skill and we can produce more quality content faster. :)

Well, that's true! Skills comes with practice, this helps to develop our sense of criticism and creativity

April fools right? Just kidding. I like to write about science and our racecars, I also like to write short stories. I do some other general shit posting to be honest. I am still trying to feel the platform out and find my personal niche. I don't really think i have anything to offer you to follow me but i would like to take a second to draw your attention to some folks that do deserve a look from you and could deffinatly help you engage with more newbies on here. I actually delegate some of my very small steem power to them because i remember when i was stuck in the bandwidth black hole. If you would please give the newbieresteemday a look i would really appreciate it. They help out a ton of new people to the platform and really help with user retention which is huge because if you have no users, you have no upvotes. @davemccoy and @beeyou can fill you in more on what they do. I am sure they will pop in here now that i mentioned them. It's like magic. Thank you very much for giving this a read as i know your time is not only limited but also valuable. Have a nice day.

Hey @doomsdaychassis. Thanks for letting us know about this post. I am slowly making my way down the comments to learn more about some of the other awesome steemians out there. I hope to get to the point where I can make a comment of my own! I did see Dave stopped by to give our community a good awareness writeup ..whew..good thing too. It's hard to find time to write!

btw, I enjoy reading your general shit posting. We must share the same mindset on here. Although some giphys I wish I had never witnessed. ;)

I hope it works out, Dave is much better at explaining things than i am. Good to hear on the posts :)

Thanks for calling my attention to this @doomsdaychassis! And also thank you for telling @anomadsoul about #newbieresteemday... And hahaha... yes its like magic! Especially @beeyou! I will give that presentation for you now, so thanks again!

Not a problem. Hopefully he finds it to be a worthwhile project to participate in.

Thank you @doomsdaychassis for presenting newbieresteemday here :)

Just doing what i can.

I broke rules again. I always do that, a curse? Sorry this isn't one paragraph, and it isn't short either. Hopefully you'll read it.

It's really nice that you wanna start following some more minnows Eric. I would have dropped the link to your contest entry but I guess that "hobby thing" is 10 days old now.

So what I do on Steem.

Basically, I do three things.....no four. Hold on, it's not too much. Lemne explain.
Firstly, I am a writer (I guess almost everyone on steem is, so not too special). I write short stories and Haikus. Haikus are..... wait a minute, you should know what Haikus are One of my Haikus

Secondly, which is like the main; don't even know why I made it second. I do some Steem Projects Exposition and Tutorials for Newbies. I happen to be the @steem9ja newbie guide (That's a Steem community.)
I explore some really cool Steem based platforms in these series and what they do. Platforms that are not so popular like steemgar or steemspectacles

Thirdly, I host a weekly doge4u contest where I giveaway some doge coins. The contest is pretty simple and are in week 7 now with growing participation each week, 20 on average.

Updated:

Hope you are a fan of Haikus though, 'cause I guess you must know about almost all the Steem Projects by now.
And I'm pretty sure you don't want Doge either :P

Thanks @anomadsoul for this opportunity
First, my name is Gideon Nnakude from Nigeria, a statistics student in his final year in the university although was suppose to graduate last year but faced some challenges which extended my graduation to this year. Am a poet, story writer and an inspirational writer.
I put up interesting write ups to inspire people and engage people in a chat.
I also created two posts about a month ago which has being helping newbies make some progress on the platform and this i now because many of them still thank me for those posts.

Why you should follow me?

About a month and some weeks back, I learnt a principle which has being helping me grow my blog and that is

post quality content, join contests, visit the blog of others, interact with them but NEVER beg for upvote or for the person to follow you

But most times i see newbies begging for followers but i discovered its not about the followers but the value of your followers and this prompted me to create this post.
FOLLOW FOR FOLLOW, ANY USEFULNESS?
So your following me depends on what you love about my blog that interests you and probably adding me to your ginabot for notifications about my post and probably your voting trail.

Recent post you can visit?

I observed a decline in the activities on the steemit platform and instantly i knew it was as a result of the fall in price, that that prompted me to create this post which you may like to visit

STEEMIT: For the money or passion?

Thank you once again.

You are one of the very few people on steemit who recognize true worth and believe in others as much as they believe in themselves.

Why I write

I was never a writer until I joined steemit but I can sincerely say that I have passion for the things that relate and concern humanity. Touching lives and helping others discover their true worth and living in the reality of their most adorable potentials is key for me. I hate to see people on the disadvantaged side of life, even if someone has to be on that side, maybe not you because you are close to me and we only know the positive vibes around here. My drive are people and I blog mostly about how people can look inward and do exceedingly great things on the outside.

Things I blog about

I blog about so many things which includes:

  • Life
  • Goals
  • Culture
  • Love
  • Motivation
  • Music
  • And some random topics as I deem fit.

Your contests are a hit for me and I feel so bad when I don't get to participate in any like the last one which had people talking about hobby.

I believe I have the value the community craves for and I'm bringing it all in.
Here is a link to one of my posts as directed.

Ok, well as my name says, I'm a traveler and I think you and some other people might be interested in following me because I will never stop traveling and will never stop writing about my travels and places that I'm visiting so I consider that this is a good way to promote the tourism and maybe encourage some people to take more travels or even visit some of the places I presented you through my articles.
I don't know how others see my work on here but I really think is something special and beautiful that needs more attention and who doesn't love trips? :D
I will leave a link to my latest trip as I post every 3 days being very busy with work, hope you like it and surely there will be more interesting places to be discovered very soon! :D

@gabrielatravels, the flames of living fire..... that's some weird stuff. Do you think that's where hell is? Just kidding

Really liked your blog, followed you as well. The Bigar waterfalls is so beautiful Guess I'm hooked on to the travellers, good to start learning a thing or two before I hit the road myself.

    Haha. Thank you very kindly!
About the fire..nope, not really haha. It's actually a very peaceful place :D and yep that waterfall is really amazing :)
And sure if you need any tips and tricks or if you have any questions about traveling and such things, I am here to answer :)

Hello there @gabrielatravels! You're doing a awesome job promoting tourism in Romania. I'm happy to see you consistently posting about your hiking and adventures there :)

Hey there sweetie, thank you so much :D I really love doing this and hope to make it for a lifetime :)

I would love to see the living fire of your country one day. It sounds like an amazing place @gabrielatravels. Your travel blog reminds me of @osm0sis's blog, my favorite travel and art blogger. Both very cool!

Thank you very much. I hope you will visit that place one day, it really worth it! :)

    Aaaaaw thank you lady.
And thanks for pointing out @gabrielatravels to me. Lovely posts, definitely worth a follow :)

I'm feeling really honoured, thank you so much! :D

    Hi Eric.

Been through the same thing as you. Sometimes I go through a feed, and I cannot find a single genuine post from my followers for hours.

Right here: real person, real photos. I like to share photos with personal insights. Personal wisdom, thoughts, and feelings. If you don't like that, you can just scroll through to look at my photos.

I have a collection of bonsai trees I grow and take care of through the seasons. Recently we started a group to support fellow bonsai growers, and we get comments from experts and fellow growers sharing their own original works.

I started a garden, and share my success and failures. Photos of flowers seems to be a big hit here on steemit, and I always post my own original photos.

Sometimes I share short fictional stories with humor and intriguing characters. I am also learning to open up more, and sometimes I share stories from my life, to elaborate on the way I have grown and overcome personal struggles. People really appreciate that they can relate to me, and get to know me better in this way. I try to drop little clues about the type of person I am in all of my posts.

My vision has always been similar to yours on steemit. Give back to the little guys as I grow. I am always supportive of people in my comments trying to succeed, and welcome them to share their posts so I can support them.

Best of all, I almost never resteem or post money-grab contests, and I never participate in drama to shame anyone. Most of the things I post are authentic insights I share to brighten people's day.

Hello @anomadsoul, reading this post remember the first time I dared to interact with you (at that moment I showed you my admiration and thanks for supporting the new users).

Later you have clarified doubts to me and I have felt your protection in this immense and hard world in which Steemit is becoming.

(I recognize that you have already voted twice in old publications, but it would be an honor for me to also follow me)
If not, then I will continue participating in your contests (with the same affection) and I will wait for the moment that really draws your attention some of my writings and can be part of your Feed:
Mejora cada aspecto de tu vida con la PNL

I run a year long writing challenge called the "365 days of writing challenge", where I encourage people to write a post(preferably fiction). I have a few regulars but the challenge is not quite popular as I'd like it to be as my exposure is not just as much. We are on Day 107 now :)

I love reading. I grew up reading books at a young age and naturally I was bound to make attempts at writing sooner or later. So I write fiction/poems touching base with the darker themes of life, truth and blatant realities of life and I enjoy writing them a lot. I guess you might enjoy reading some of these posts of fiction/poetry.

I also make blog posts on lifestyle, on my family and about anything that I find interesting.

I know you said one, but may I present three posts to you.

This one is Level 1 in my mind :
    https://steemit.com/poetry/@mydivathings/riding-the-wave

    This beats the earlier:
    https://steemit.com/poetry/@mydivathings/the-rise-to-the-top-poem

While these two were poems, I am posting something here beyond the 7 day period so that you may taste what my fiction writing is like but only that this post is a recount of a true event and I think I wrote it out pretty well :

    https://steemit.com/jerrybanfield/@mydivathings/the-pond-entry-for-supernatural-writing-contest-by-jerry-banfield

    Hope you enjoyed them!

    Hi! @anomadsoul

My name is aduragbemi. i'm a poet, motivational writer, and an artist. Well, the first time i really got to know about you was when you posted "my2018-this is my hobby contest", i was perusing the feeds that afternoon when i saw it. I was kind of filled with joy seeing the reward involved and then, i applied because i needed help on my blog.

I didn't win the contest but i knew the evaluation was fair because i myself read many wonderful post that is worth it. I'm saying this not to flatter because of myphilosophy-admitting the strenghts of others if it's worth it. What i felt i needed after seeing the results of the contest was that i need to improve on my writing, afterall another opportunity might tag along.

The second reason why i applied for the writing contest was the fact that there will be a revelation of a part of me not yet known to other steemians and it gave me joy and that is the reason why i journeyed with them down memory lane and took time to explain it.

There were times that i was fed up about posting on steemit as there was no motivation. People rarely check my post for almost a month and i was of the opinion that " people don't care" why should i continue to post? But still i continued posting. The one that pained me the most is a piece of writing that took me almost 24hrs to finish and after about 2days i had $0.03, only one person commented on the post. I was embittered and discouraged but i vented my anger and channeled it to writing poetry. I'm glad i did....motivation came back, i have been consistent since then.

Well, i love to devout my time in writing motivational piece to tackle problems and motivate people. I even wrote another motivational piece today titled "what motivates you"

    Here is the link; https://steemit.com/motivation/@aduragbemi/what-motivates-you

I have made up my mind to continue posting everyday to improve my writing skills. I do hope you enjoy reading that motivational piece.

Well, i would love it if you consider me worthy of your follow, it will be a added advantage to me and it will help promote my content. Thanks @anomadsoul for this ample chance.

Hi @anomadsoul. I think this is a good thing you have going on here, the plus side being as you mentioned, get to know other Steemians.

To introduce myself, my name is Julie. But so far people have nicknamed me foxy or FS and honestly, I like it, it's fun :p.
What I blog about... Well I am still trying to find my niche so I kind of blog about the things that surround me and that I find interesting, I like to share that with people.
So far I wrote about the martial arts that I practice, baking, being a stay at home mom, with also a few side things to venture out and try. Wrote about my home town, and a couple adventures, the fun stuff that's going on. One of the things I like to write about as well is advice. Although I have to wait on inspirations for that as giving advice about something is delicate so I don't write about it often. Really not often. Im working on getting better writing skills.
    How it is done.
Well, I have to wait for the right time to do it. When the right words come to mind. Then I have better fluidity. Sometimes I have to wait for something to happen to have something good to write about. I don't want to give out something to the people for nothing and waste their time reading something that is no good.
Why I write about those topics.
For now I think it is to find like minded people. Find their interests too. I like how Steemit is good for interacting with people, so I like to read their opinions on things. I see the people here as though they were people I could have a coffee with and talk to them about things that are happening. I like to be honest and have no shame in sharing how things are going, good or bad.
I havent been on Steemit for very long, and for some of things that I want to write about, I have to wait for the snow to melt in order to take the trails and get some great pictures too.
The thing I like the most here is that I get to read what other people have to say and I can comment on it, help people, give a thought and appreciate them. I may not have the greatest of blogs just yet but I am also allowing myself some time to grow and finding my place. I am easy going.
To share a post that I am proud of, unfortunately it over 7 days but I would enjoy if you ever get the chance to have a look at it here, but it is passed 7 days as I have said. So there is this one here that is exactly at 7 days. Maybe it counts lol. But anyhow. Everything is a work in progress, right?
Thank you for reading my comment in advance, and if you do take the time to read any of my blogs, I express my deepest gratitude to you on spending your time to read something that I wrote. Thank you ^_^

Hi @anomadsoul! Thank you and I'm happy for this opportunity. I'm a full time HR employee from Manila and a part timer in Steemit, with a dream to work full time here :) Below are the things I write about, how and why I write them:

    • Travel
This is my main subject. Although I am not traveling at the moment to save up for long term travel, I have several past travel stories to tell. My writing style is simple but I try to keep it interesting. I write like how I would tell someone a story and ensure my audience doesn't get bored.

    • Minnow Fridays (of the newbieresteemday initiative)
Every Friday, I feature 3 newbies from the newbieresteemday tag. This is my mini curation project. I cannot give them a big upvote but I reward the featured newbies from the post earnings. So far I have done 6 Fridays, and my last Minnow Fridays was a few weeks ago because I dedicated one Friday to tackle about plagiarism and failure to cite sources which were concerning issues I have seen some newbies fall into.

    • Random topics and out of my comfort zone
This is what I love about Steemit, we are free to blog about different topics. I have written varied topics from light post of my ordinary life, having fun singing on dtube to deeper topics like the vulnerable part of me, depression and my journey in Steemit. Recently, I am trying out creative writing which is my weakness. My most recent post is a poetry for my laptop that died:
      https://steemit.com/poetry/@wanderlass/poetry-the-black-screen

My laptop gave up and I do not have access to my travel photos and I am taking this time to write about other topics especially those that take me out of my comfort zone. I am afraid this recent post is not impressive as this is new to me. I am also linking an older blog for you to have an idea what my travel writing looks like:

    https://steemit.com/animals/@wanderlass/elephant-spirit-crushing-why-you-shouldn-t-ride-an-elephant-and-elephant-nature-park-s-solution-in-thailand

I have already decided what laptop to buy and by next week, I will be back to travel blogging (Yay!). For now, I will be blogging about random topics and exercise free writing and creative writing :)

PS. Please also consider looking into newbieresteemday which was earlier presented by @doomsdaychassis. Thank you :)

I am already following you! Like for a month now! Thank you so much for engaging with other people commenting here :) Btw, thank you for reassuring me I am following the right people :D

OMG you made my day @anomadsoul! Aside from being able to power up today because of the SBD Steem price, your comment is such a great news! <3

    Loading...

Hi @anomadsoul I like challenges and I decided to take part in that too. I like the way you support minnows and new comers, from my side I also love to do it. I explain my way, recently I decided to post 5 days a week, leaving weekend off because during those days I read, upvote and comment those posts that I upvoted.

Because I do not have much SP, I vote min with 50 and upwards, therefore, by Friday my VP is down to 40, so I use WE for charging.

Daily I spend 3-4 hours to read through the posts of people who I upvoted and I comment them, because I want those people to know that I read their posts. Sometimes I have to search in Google about those topics before I write rubbish. It is almost like real part-time job.

There are few good Steemians whose blog I like and support, I noticed that re-steeming their posts brought them one or other time attention.

To make my blogs interesting I decided last week to use topic of the week and explore it over 5 days, I support them with my own art works and of course my thoughts, my life events and emotions. I love to read comments from my friends, I am glad that I have few who are from very beginning and we understand each other just with one word.

I am attaching a link to one of my post, would be glad to know what do you think about that.

    https://steemit.com/foraging/@galberto/trufas-de-chocolate-a-base-de-biomasa-de-bananas-verdes-chocolate-truffles-based-on-green-banana-biomass-english-down

    https://steemit.com/spanish/@ailindigo/sobre-la-introversion

PD: decidas seguirme o no, todavía te seguiré leyendo. Un abrazo.

Hello, @anomadsoul, I think you know I admire you very much, and I appreciate the opportunities and initiatives you constantly share with us.

My name is Antonio, and you can find me under the nickname @flashfiction, I am a writer with a very specific and not very common area of specialty. You guess it: Flash Fiction. I write very short stories that serve as a canvas for the reader to construct his own narrative. They let you "fill in the holes", in a way. They are so short they can actually be completely read without clicking them. I present them in English and Spanish.

    This is one example:

    https://steemit.com/writing/@flashfiction/love

Also, I present these stories as comics. Very short comics, such as this one.

    https://steemit.com/writing/@flashfiction/shadowgames-14-comic-oblivion

To know that this content is something you consider good enough, would mean a lot. It would be a real honor if you follow me.

    Thank you.

Hi @anomadsoul :) First of all, let me begin with some buttering up to - I absolutely ADORE what you did with the tags! The best!
Okay, I'm exaggerating, but nice going there.
I think this is a very nice initiative...We get very lost among our little bands of friends and lose sight of anything outside our narrow space of view.

How, why, when I blog...or about me :)

Well, at first, I was trying it out, discovering that I actually like to blog :O which came as a shock to me, to be honest. But now, I'm a bit older here and with every post, I'm more aware that I'm leaving an eternal mark on the blockchain, which is - in and of itself - mindblowing.

Why do I blog? I like it, that's the simple truth, I blog because it's fun. Even if only 5 people read my stuff, it's 5 more than would read it without Steemit, so it works for me. I write because it pushes my boundaries and because somehow, knowing that people will read my writing makes me explore corners I didn't know existed before in my head.

    So, yeah...

I write because I'm a writer, simple as that.

As for a post I'm proud of, I love them all. What writer doesn't? But I liked this one, as it came from the soul -

Hi @anomadsoul ,You have always been generous to us (minnows) that is really great love you for that ,something i want to share about myself..

    • This is about what i actually love to do -
I am actually an artist ,love sketching things out and i am proud for that ...but when i joined in this steem platform i never knew i can be a writer too(amateur) ..so pretty much got myself into writing and yes of course i loved them dont know about others whether they loved it or not...
    • About how i post things
I am actually trying to make people understand that the life they are living most of them it is not the right way...we always are stressing ourselves out of nothing. What we can manage happily ,we dont.We should work on the way we think and change our thought process ... So we all should take some time to think about why we are living our lives ,what for ?i guess everyone knows the answer but no one works on that, this makes me post something related to our lives.
    • About why?
I have personally faced bad situations and what i learned at the end was what ever is meant to happen will find its way we just need to carry on the way of life we live.We dont know when we will die maybe today ,tomorrow ....Start living lives ,enjoy it make it worth ....
It is getting way too personal i guess..sorry for that .....

Well i am a good artist too ,when i first came to the steemit ,i had all over my mind that i will post about my sketches ,drawings but when i posted some no one even figured it out ...so i changed my perspective and unleashed my writing skills...
It is true that survival of minnows has become pretty difficult now...we need help ,help from dolphins....

Well, I don't really know for sure if you're interested in the things that I post, but I'm commenting just in case you are. These are the things I post:

Tempest Papers: A humorous, light read of letters from our cat who was living with us on a sailboat in the Caribbean. She wrote home, usually complaining to her humans back on land about how she wasn't treated like the royalty she is.

Weekend Freewrites that are far too often horror or morbidly themed for reasons I can't quite figure out. I don't like horror, I don't read or watch it, but when I do freewrites... well, apparently my bloodthirsty side comes out.

Real Sh*t When I'm struggling mentally (or physically, for that matter) I'm not afraid to write about it.

And my kids/family that I write about from time to time because even though my kids are mostly grown humans now, I still feel like bragging on them sometimes because they're weird, talented, entertaining and they're mine.

I'm probably a bit too varied in what I write, but I write every day, regardless of the price of steem, so if you're looking for someone to always be there for your entertainment, I can at least promise you variety of some sort ;)

I think this is an awesome idea. I have been noticing how I'm getting to the end of my feed and have been adding new people to follow as I read throughout the week. I'm sure you'll get plenty of responses, too!

    Have a great week,
    @byn

P.S. Sorry about the lack of just 'a short paragraph' I'm not good at being short and sweet and wasn't sure how to sum up my blog in one go.

Hi @anomadsoul. I've been following you for a quite now and been engaging on your blogs too. I am even waiting for the sndbox quest for literature/writing. Of course, I know you are part of the sndbox family, which I admire so much. I'm not quite sure though if you noticed me, if yes (which honestly, I'm hoping. lol!), it's a huge plus, because I'm focusing myself on engagement too. You said on your post "As I said, this is not only for you to interact with me, but also for you to read the comment section and to start following and interacting with the Steemians you have something in common or that you enjoy reading them."

I do blog about life's realizations and positivities, spreading good vibes around steemit. Here's my latest post that I could say that I am proud of you: https://steemit.com/steemiteducation/@leebaong/i-think-i-know-which-one-you-ll-pick
And I silently hoping with a little prayer - hahaha - to get your attention and your liking too.

    Gratias @anomadsoul!

Let's hope I'm worthy lol. Engagement is key on Steemit, so here I am. The girl on Steemit that can use some extra support for sure. I started to post on Steemit as I have a big pile of corruption to expose and almost everything I write is my story, the path I've been walking the last years, and the climb up from losing everything (in Holland incl my 2 oldest children house and belongings). We chose to get out and started over in Spain, now living in Hungary. But the past is hunting me again, you can read this post (payout in 5 hours) Soon I will have no passport anymore
As they are refusing to give me my passport unless I pay them lots of money (I dont have) some extra support is really welcome.
I try to mix the hard topics with pleasure (Alldutch-creation is our new project) so there is not only drama on my feed :) If you want to have a look I would highly appreciate your time (for reading/commenting) and of course votes and resteems are very appreiated too. I work hard writing my posts and Steemit is my way to reach some goals (getting justice in Holland from the government and my children back, but also finishing my first book and more..) My life is never boring and I'd love you to become a follower ..

    Thanks! @anouk.nox

Let's talk about Human Rights ---> serie of 6 posts

    Alldutch-creations weekly no2

Hey NoMad, I used to write science articles specifically about ceramics but I've stopped. Since then, I've been thinking of setting up a small ceramic laboratory where in I will be able to actually produce ceramic figurines as well as share them into steemit! I will start this as soon as I get all the raw materials needed (such as clay).

And so for the meantime, I've been writing steem trivia about science, history, the Philippines etc. You can read my latest post about the Filipino poet featured in google's search page yesterday through doodle art, in commemoration of that poet's 230th birthday.

Also, I am currently in my mission of becoming physically fit again after I got into 75 kls. I've share this in this post here. I planned to do that in alternating days or so instead of daily (I'm a lazy man LOL).

And last but not the least, I also share my Filipino culture to the steem blockchain by introducing Filipino dishes (which I personally cook), writing articles about our history, common Filipino tradition during special holidays and many more.

This is to share unique content in steemit and also to provide information about our diverse culture here as well as let the world know how beautiful our nation is.

Here are my recent posts that I recommend you to read:

    Hola amigo @anomadsoul,

    https://steemit.com/my2018/@sonofgod87/my-2018-this-is-my-hobby-tocar-guitarra

Looks like you inspired quite a few comments here. Hopefully, as you wished, people have been following each other, too.

I really like seeing this kind of interaction on Steemit, so thanks for this.

You already follow abh12345, so you're aware of his curation and engagement leagues, plus his forays to the database to provide personalized information for anyone who asks for it. I find both to be worthwhile endeavors and very helpful to my own participation here on Steemit.

He has two sponsors for the leagues that help out with rewards, but I'm sure he could always use some help with some more. Either by you or others you know that would be interested in such a sponsorship.

I know this wasn't what you were asking for, but I think it's a worthy cause, since a lot of the minnows you could be following are listed there.

I appreciate your time and any consideration you might give to this.

    https://steemit.com/spanish/@johannfrare/bajo-el-sin-sentido-de-la-racionalidad-perfecta

Saludos ;)

    Good stuff my man!
I am a tiny minnow in SP but a monster in follows... (almost 10k)

I run a project called NanoCheeZe and we're discussing firewalling AI from Humanity by using VR to give AI their own multiverse to function in. sentient or not...

I run a sister bot @xtdevelopment that helps other minnows get resteemed as my way of giving back to the steem community.

We also have our own NanoCheeZe crypto currency... only available on Linux right now. Having shameful trouble compiling the windows binary... I have mined almost 400k coins the hard way over the past few months of a 120 million max so far that I plan to distribute PoS rewards from to my followers once we go live with the windows executable...

I come off as a conspiracy theorists but I'm not, I'm harnessing conspiracy stories to build a virtual experience... for a reality labyrinth...

Hi @anomadsoul I think you should follow me because I am cool.
    Hey, Im kidding =)!

First of all, I think is good you want to increase appreciation for minnows, sometimes it gets very frustrated to dedicate hours in a post and ended up under-valuated, although the joy of posting a post you enjoy writing is priceless.

    • I like to write mostly about real situations in life where I share experiences so readers could take a positive knowledge.
    • I try to bring attention to environment and animal protection, either sharing my personal experiences or thoughts.
    • Sometimes I write about my favorite sport: Brazilian Jiu Jitsu

I am not an ass kisser, but I feel I should share that I understood you point, you have your time and life as well so no worries, I dont see your post as arrogant at all. This being said, I will sleep fine if you choose not to follow me.

Here is a post I like with no more than 7 days: The Green Iguana, an endangered animal!

    Thanks.

Hey @anomadsoul, thanks for taking your time to interact with us, minnow 😆. I've been helping Team Malaysia to organise meetups and event over here with the support from others as well to spread more steemit awareness while enjoying the fun bonding time together.

Steemit totally changes and redefining the way, how a social media should work as a content creating, community growth and side earning at the same time. I've met a lot of new Steemians in real life and international Steemians as well over my 4 months in Steemit which is totally awesome.

I'm very much looking forward meeting you too in person if you're coming over this September 😉 finger crossed

This is an upcoming event to help other Steemians who encounter writer's block, https://steemit.com/teammalaysia/@aaronleang/boilerroom-announcement-1-15-04-2018-sunday-or-common-man-coffee-roasters-ttdi and we look forward organising more in the future.

If you're interested in reading my meetups series, feel free to hop on my profile and thank you again for taking time reading this comment even though is not one paragraph 😅

We are good friend with @anomadsoul :) Me and my husband @gregbit met him long time ago on Steemit. When we met him we just started our journey on Steemit. He was our inspiration , the man full of beautiful life. Especially that our life was pretty normal. A lot of work, traffics, toxic food and full of stress. One day we decided to change that. Now we are looking for our destination to live ;) We still working remotely but for sure less then before, especially me. I try to earn money by Steemit and by my website. We are very happy. When I was looking at @anomadsoul posts I felt so incredible and He was a little part of our step to freedom. Here I would like to say thank you to him :) He is very nice guy. Maybe one day I will dedicate the poem about him in my @poemchallenge or I will write a story in my desirable pearls :) A lot of respect my friend. This post is really great and I totally understand you . Blessings :)

I've been a follower for you weeks ago after I participated in your contest just few days ago entitled My 2018: This is my Hobby. And i was so glad that you have appreaciated it as well as upvoted it.

Why I post here in steemit?

Is because I want to share something I can give to my fellow steeminas who are continuing to aspire their lives everyday. Also, I want to add informations interms of my personality, social lives and works imparting my skilss in arts. I am very glad that I have found this kind of oppurtunity wherein I can learn many things about this gracious world. I am also thankful that I have been this far quite from a minnow as well as knowing big personalitiea in this community just like you sir @anomadsoul and @ocd. Thank you for everything and continue sharing entertaining information for as also helping someone like me wants to have more improvements in this community.

I blog about wildlife, tours and travel but 3/4 of my time i spend writing 'reflective fiction'.

There is so much about the world out there, that only writing can bring out to the world! I write of fictional experiences that reflect on the factual. In short, i am your mirror!

And i blog because in my writing, i think that i can be the voice of so many out there who, in the world's noise, have been stiffed and think their own voice can not be heard. I reflect their experiences through fiction.

How do i blog? Well, let me capture the essense of my 'how' in the words of Samuel Johnson — 'A writer only begins a book. A reader finishes it.'
So, much as i write, i also read. A mirror needs an object in order to reflect an image! And i only think it courteous and good manners to read other people's works.

And for me first things first. the first thing i do when i log in to my account, is run to my feed. With this time zone thing allowing my many interconnected friends a time lapse...it is only true that at least one of them has been awake and posted much earlier than me. So i look them up, and engage. After which i get down to my scribbling, and finally after making my own post for the day, i am off to the disocord. @newbieresteemday and @asapers have particularly proven very useful and supportive.

My plan is to make at least one post a day. I say at least as on some days i might have a lot more to reflect on. So you can be sure you will be able to share in someone's, some life's reflection every day.

Here is a link to a short serial i am running, a reflection of Sofia's life...think of it as a 'woman's monologue!" It is the 3rd chapter, but you should after reading hopefully be encouraged to read the 1st and second.
    https://steemit.com/writing/@mirrors/mirror-s-reflections-1-chapter-iii-choices-fool

So will you now stand before me and let me reflect you @anomadsoul?

Hi @anomadsoul! I have been folowing you and your contests. In fact, I have to thank you as one of my entries for your contest gave me my first Curie vote. If it not because of your motivation to newbies like me, I would not be able to come up with my travel idea and would not be able to bag the most coveted vote of all Steemians. So, thank you!

As for your invitation to convince you to follow me, kindly check my posts and let my work convince you. I also try to engage with my fellow Steemians. I may not have a recent post ( the last post I have was 6 days ago) but knowing that you "may" follow me would be a great assurance that at least I will have someone who will read my future posts.

Thank you for the chance and I hope to have more engagement with you.

    Hi there, how’s it going?

I am from Hong Kong and comfortably calling steemit my second home.

On here, I mainly incorporate my local Hong Kong culture (eating, language, religion, and artitectures), education (my boy is almost 6 years old) and parenting into my posts.

I cite properly and use credible sources for serious posts. All content is original and most pictures are my own. If I have to use third party photos, I find and cite them from royalty-free sites like pixalbay.

I would like to add value to the steem blockchain by doing original content around my culture, patenting ,and education, and sharing what I know and have experienced on steemit.

The most memorable moment so far is that I have recently won the first place in the SNDBOX cultural challenge. I hope that I can positively bring more to the blockchain after that.

Thank you so much for organizing this and giving me the opportunity, so I can be briefly introducing myself to you and to the world. It means so much to planktons like me. Have a good day.

I feel so excited about this post, this is obviously the closest I have gotten in having a direct interaction with a whale since I joined steemit February 2018. One of the challenges I faced in the first few weeks I faced on steemit was to know exactly what to post. At first I made post that I felt would trend but after a while I realised that is not the real stuff. The real stuff is to make a post that I love, something that I care and desire about and also would love to share with other steemians. I realised I had a great interest in writing about animals but the unique part about what I write is that it is about the animals in the wild. This was how I started a series,on the BIG CATS I started 8days ago and I am to post a new episode at a specific interval of time. I am already on the second episode of season one and this is the link

Talking about being aquinted with other steemians, I feel so surprised to find the comment of @gamsam here because I got to know him here on steemit and he has been a good friend. Thank you very much @anomadsoul I hope you do love Big Cats?

Hi @admanosoul... I'm yoyo from Japan and spent time over 1 month at here, steemit.
Not sure you check this contest post or not, but I'm a person who wrote this.
    https://steemit.com/life/@yo-yo/my2018-this-is-my-hobby-weaving-and-making-tools

I started writing about travel, food, culture, photos etc. ... but since I joined Japanese community and enjoy talking with them and see what's going on Jpns community, I feel like want to write about things like:
●What is a "good post" in steemit
    ●How to enjoy studying English
●How to communicate with foreign people
●How to use convenient software to create post
    ●Introduce articles from steemit overseas

    and plus,
●Some things what I want to write: Jpns culture, travel, food, photos, etc.

Of course there's many Jpns steemian who are trying to do already, but still need someone connect with "overseas" and "Jpns community" from user/writing side.
Well... but actually I'm not so sure till when I'll be here because I'm a bit getting tired to write article especially in English everyday^^; So if I won't be here if you follow me and try to read my article, pleaese excuse me. hahaha...

Thank you very much for your time for reading this... cheers.

Hi, I'm Italian (Sardinian), I'm an architect, writer, and I like photography and all forms of art except music (but do not ask me why). Unfortunately I can not speak very well English, but I try ... I met your profile because some time ago my post was found by ocd. I'm on steemit since December, I'm a member of the Italian community but I do not participate in automatic voting trail because I think this is a disgrace. I have several projects for my blog and one of these is a series of articles concerning landscape design (here the link to my last one). I imagine that a nomadic soul wants to know many places, well, if you want to know something more about Sardinia my blog could be useful for you.

    Ciao! :)

Voice, I’m interested in landscape and Italian

My name is @Josediccus and I'm a poet, I think you should follow me because

    1. I've been your ardent follower, always commenting on your blog and taking part in your contests, most of the time you reply me because I place meaningful comments, that we tend to end up interacting.

    2. I'm a very creative poet, and since I came here, I've won at least 30 poetry contest since joining in September in price money of at least 50SBD this however shows I'm creative and have cut my teeth in the poetic area, only Just I do not get support for my works

    3. I've been recommend 4 times by @saywha for my post to be curated by #ocd when I was lesser than rep 60, I think I I'd really need your touch on my blog, thanks for really doing this

This is a beautiful poem that has the analysis written under it, it's African, richly written

    https://steemit.com/dsound/@josediccus/20180330t081629527z-sound-the-drums-an-african-ode-day-23

😂 @anomadsoul, sometimes the comments section can be pretty long here so I can understand if you don't reply all and sundry.

Before I came on steemit, I had been writing poetry and getting them published on literary journals and anthologies, so when I joined steemit I stuck to poetry but I also wanted to be good at fiction which I had never tried before, so I made my blog, my lab. It has been favorable so far, the reviews I have received from my hybrids made of blending fiction and poetry. I blog on poetry, fiction and a bit of nonfiction here and there (mostly on writing, motivation, Christianity and steemit).

    I consider all my posts in recent times to be better than when I first started and I love all of them equally no matter how they have fared in the upvotes. I will leave the most recent here;
    Steemit Fiction: Coming Home

I hope you find something worth your time on my blog. Thank you. Peace.

Published on journals? That's really good and nice. Am also a poet but started writing poetry of recent. My major hobby has been story writing and inspirational writing which lead me to create my own blog late last year https://gcnstories.blogspot.com but since Google AdSense delayed my approval for earning I abandoned the blog because i was in dear need of money but will go back to it but thank God i found steemit and it has being real good to me but there are some words i have being trying to differentiate it uses because am a statistics student and you may be of help since it's confusing on google to me.
Look at the following pairs of words, when do one make use of them

    mine and my
    me and I
    being and been
    someone and some one

    Loading...

    I am an ardent follower of you @anomadsoul and would really love to see you reciprocate the follow. Here is my reasons;
I blog about Climate Change and Blockchain which encompasses Cryptocurrencies.
Climate change topic has been of interest to me for so long and creating good content on it is of pertinent value to the dispersal of knowledge about this cankerworm bedeviling the human race. I believe in awareness campaign and preventive measures to interrupt climate change and it's effects.
Blockchain though gaining waves recently, is still at an infancy level thus, my aim of publishing content about it's enormous importance.
DECENTRALIZING THE GOVERNMENT is among the top post I made about Blockchain and it's enormous potentials...It's almost 7 days in age don't really need an upvote but would appreciate it if you could read through it

I came to Steem to offer diverging views on seemingly well-established ideas, worldviews and notions of our modern times.
Sometimes I dub videos into English, like this old newsreport from Swiss Television that so few people have heard about. I share all kinds of media shamanistic work on Steemit, some of exploratory nature in art, some plain and information-dense. My path is odd and weird - full of unlikely discoveries... but then I guess, I want it that way ;)

    https://steemit.com/gmo/@paradigmprospect/ysomj4f2

While the post is already a little older, I would be thrilled to hear your thoughts on the report ;) It means more than an upvote you know <3

Guess I'll put myself out there for once! My content is kind of all over the place, as I blog about a mixture of things like my passions (Everyday carry gear, Pokemon cards, Funko figures, video game gameplay that I edit, etc.) and then do more formal things like video game reviews as well as the occasional movie reviews. I also have done a few contests every now and then since I enjoy that, though it's not something I'm able to do as often as I'd like.

I like to think that my content is quality stuff, so maybe there's a chance you might dig my stuff :) I know you said you'd prefer recent content, but I'm going to link to what I think is my favorite edited gameplay I've posted to date from a few weeks ago. I'm also going to include two of my other recent posts, though I made sure to include only one that can be voted on currently. I just figured since my content is a bit sporadic it would be hard to narrow a single post down :P

I post content on here because I think it's fun and I've enjoyed making friends on this site. I have a lot of free time on my hands due to medical issues, so I've just tried to be a fun, goofy and entertaining dude on here for people. Hopefully that comes across in my content and I just don't seem like a weird douche or anything, haha.

If you'd want me to edit my comment and just choose one to leave in here let me know. I don't wanna come off as spammy or anything. Hope you get a laugh or two from my posts!

Hahaha....OK your seven day beer challenge got me.
First off, who names a beer Natty Rush
I'm glad you killed it with an axe finally :-)

First off, who names a beer Natty Rush

The god damn booze devil, that's who. That thing deserved much more pain and suffering than I inflicted on it. If I had the money, I'd probably go buy a dozen of those things and destroy them in all kinds of different ways.

    Hahaha
    Maybe set one on fire
    Throw one in acid
    Another in the ocean
Some in the middle of the Sahara

I just realized I kinda broke the rules with my long ass post, my bad, man, lol.

Hi @anomadsoul! I appreciate your vote for my entry and I read one of the winning entries (I sure will read more). I am a proud Steemian because this platform upholds high standards and gives everyone a chance to get heard.

I was invited to this platform by @eastmael who coached me and introduced me to some other friends on Steemit. I celebrated having 100, 300 and 400 followers before, so I agree with you about valuing followers.

The number of people I'm following also grows, though not as fast. I can see that you have a very high standard, following only 315 at the moment. I always follow someone who's content I like and helped me across different areas, including photography. I sometimes resteem posts that I think can help others too. Also, I don't usually comment with a wall of text so you won't get bored with rants or disorganized thoughts. Following me may open another tiny channel for you to catch those good posts that you might have missed. This might work fo others too! I never asked anyone to follow me, especially for no reason. Spammers, I think, have already learned their lesson. A much better way than asking for follows or upvotes is to just speak your mind through writing and you will also learn more about yourself. I admire authors like you who give invaluable contributions to the platform.

Hi @anomadsoul. I think we have chatted before in sndbox and other posts. I have one feet in #steem-cartoon another in #steem-music.

Very generous of you to offer your upvotes. Even more meaningful when it is meant for the minnows. I dont wish to fight for that pie but wanna say hi coz the things u do is a positive direction for the platform and people like you make a difference.

By the way just to share a short poem I wrote...

    https://steemit.com/kudospoetry/@perennial/kudus-poetry-short-poem-simple-joy-of-discovery

You should follow me so you can witness steemit bring financial freedom to someone.
I am here every single day more or less and I am learning more and more as time goes by.
I have a goal to earn my way up 10,000sp and will stick it out until steem gets up to $10+. At that point I should be able to earn a decent income from steem which can fund my account with high end camera's for future face reveal and Dtube videos.

I am hoping to get a couple of people, who have a decent voting weight, to add me to their autovote as it helps me get to my goal faster. I have this one follower with over 200,000 sp and I have to say anytime I see a vote from him I feel like I won the lottery...I want to have that feeling everyday and to one day be able to pass that joy along to someone else.

I made this comment before clicking to see your SP....yeah, to get on your autovote list would be game changing for me, a couple of heavy runners like you on my side and I should be able to get 10,000SP in no time...it is late here now but tomorrow I will come back and thoroughly check out what you have been up to on here. I have cut out a lot of negative people in my life and want to surround myself with people who inspire me and motivate me.
Hope to wake up to a nice surprise.

@anomadsoul i want to say thank you for this great opportunity. Today is the last day you will read your comment section and i really hope i get considered.

The good news for me is that you are my goodnews the first day i came on board since december 15th. Its been a while i saw you, however i followed you, i would be greatful if i get the gesture back(not under compulsion).
Since then till date i have grown gradually and manually. I have a community we are building known as bloggers hheavens which i will love you to see. When we move to discord i shall definately drop a link for you. For now we are on whatsapp. Somany thing i would love to tell you as one of my first mentors on steemit i wish i get the chance to one day!

Indeed! Glad to see more people looking for this and being upfront about it. I also tend to get into the habit of following larger more established accounts and I'm trying to find more minnows who regularly put out interesting and origional content. I try and make regular post and write everything myself about topics no one really cares for on typical social media and plan on starting to create tutorials on a number of subjects here shortly. Would love the support but if not that's fine too. Maybe we could swap hitchhiking stories or magic tactics even~ Ha!

ME! ME! I'M COOL! I write a lot of sad shit, in spanish, in english. When I try to post a happy post, steemit collapses.
Jk I know you follow this kind soul already, and I'm thankful for it <3 I hope I make your feed, maybe not happier, but I'm sure as hell I come from my heart.

I also like sad posts because they come from the heart and it's reality <3

Reality doesn't have to be sad though. It'ts just us, sad weird people that see beauty in sad things.

I am Muhammad Asim from Pakistan and I blog about unique tribes around the world. I also blog about daily issues and sometimes post pictures too but I lack a quality camera or smartphone so I have to be more concentrated on writing. I wrote this post about a unique tribe which is called Dani and follow unique customs. It was really appreciated by the readers and I am so proud of it. https://steemit.com/life/@mmasim/unique-tribes-of-the-world-tribalogy-12-dani-tribe-of-indonesia

      ·  7 years ago (edited)

Hey @mmasim, read your post. It's awesome.
And you really are doing a series about this thing. I'm sure following, will be fun to read about all those strange tribes and cultures.
Cutting off fingers is something, but we have stranger things over here.

Thank you so much@gamsam. I am so happy to have you as a follower. Would love to be interacting with you more and more. Thanks for appreciating, sir.

Of course man, your work is great. Just read about the Huli Wigmen of Papua now. Your blog got me hooked, I better still learn about the tribes since I have a passion for travelling. Don't want to end up in some tribes where they eat up strangers :P
But seriously, I knew a place where they used to some years back

    Hi @anomadsoul
Did you hear my voice in your song lately? I was one of the background singer with @teammalaysia led by @bitrocker2020. I like the song and like to listen again but where did you post that song ? Actually i want to hear my voice though LOL

With regards to my involvement in Steemit, I am still learning
    Cheers

As usual, your title got me. And this is what I like the most about you. I started my blog because I needed an outlet. An outlet to release all my creative juices because my current job doesn't allow me to do that. I also wanted to be an inspiration. Not to my followers but to myself because some days I don't feel productive. Whenever I scroll through my past writings, I feel like I didn't really write my articles. Because there are some days that I don't feel the best. I know there are a lot of deserving people that should get your upvote. I just want everybody who sees this comment to realize that writing should first be for yourself. Not for others. Once you realize that, your writing will illuminate --- that's the time your writing becomes for the others. Thanks for inspiring me, as always, @anomadsoul. 😅

You are a great writer and brands your blog well. I should put you in my GINABOT so I don't miss a thing.

Wow! Thanks for that @maverickinvictus. You are also one of my inspirations here on Steemit hehe

I agree Mav! This was so nice of you to say...I've been scrolling reading all your comments :) Your comment here @jeninamunoz, has found you a new follower in me:) Nice job!

Well right now I am very proud of my last post: https://steemit.com/spanish/@hengary/spider-man-uel-or-comisiones-abiertas

You see I'm a cartoonist and illustrator, right now working on my own comic, I love drawing and my blog is based on that all this time. Right now I have the dream of being able to come up with my girlfriend and be able to go to a place where we have a better future. Already with the fact that it is possible with my drawings that I love so much to do, I am quite happy.

Hi @anomadsoul! I’ve heard alot about you and how much you inspire people here with your works and contests. I was once a participant of your writing contest about My2017 new year celebration. Though i havent won, i still am proud of that work of mine. :)

I am not the type of blog writer who writes according to my expertise but Im more up to sharing my thoughts about different things. If i feel like sharing, i share it here. I have a blog about how much i love my passion in community service and dancing. Aside from being a graduate with a degree in psychology, im also up to working with the Rotary International and “League of Aces”- a dance organization. Both have different goals and vision but i aspire to be a versatile human being who does everything Im passionate about.

Currently, i am in my 3rd month in this platform and so far I’ve participated a lot of contests- writing poems and blogs, and even photography. Just last day I posted a blog about High School life and being reunited with my High School friends. I felt nostalgic reminiscing those good old days that’s why I had to make a short blog about it. Hope you’ll have time to read it! :)

    Hello @anomadsoul,
Like u mentioned above majority of your followers are the ones who participates in your contest and I happened to be one of them.

Steemit happens to be decentralized platform for gifted writers and many of them have been focused on a particular niche. During my journey On steemit, i happened to be a random writer. i just found out recently that I have what it takes to inspire and motivate people. I know there are lot of motivational speakers here but my unique style of writing will definitely distinguish me out of the masses...

Here's my link to my latest post.

    https://steemit.com/inspirational/@sbamsoneu/freedom-from-captivity-of-negativity

I pray it meets your criteria. But if it doesn't, you can please give me a little tip to improve myself, I'm Open to learning..

I am follower of you for about 30 days. If you feel better then you follow me otherwise you can't do that. Don't worry with present price of bitcoin. I hope it will bounce up again. Keep posting . Thank @anomadsoul for sharing this post with us.

do not feel sad friend, true followers must be able to understand and always give support to the people who follow, and always give a positive

Yes why i want you to follow me is help promote my blog so i can easily grow on this platform i am try to help some newbies i introduce but do to low voting power i can't grow them i want but if you follow me you will help grow me. Thanks for sharing @anomadsoul

Haiiiii @anomadsoul. I can not speak english well, and i don't know how to write it well. But i hope you can understand me. I really love your post. May be someday you will visit my post, and if you think that it's an interesting post, May be you can give me your upvote. Some of my post is about recipes, that i saw from my mom. May be you can try to make it someday. Thanks so much. See u

@ernaerningsih I like the courage with you to write this comment although you declared cannot write English Well.
To me, what you have written is very well and most important it can be understood. Start writing your post in in English and you will improve over time
    Keep up the good work

    Thank you !

Hi @anomadsoul! Although I didn't catch your my2018 contest, I'm glad that I saw your post since I like writing stories. Writing and photography contests inspire me, though I haven't submitted any stunning entry. I followed you because I want to learn from you and don't want to miss good content from winners and from you. If you follow me, you can easily monitor my succeeding posts and my progress. Seeing someone grow on Steemit under your mentorship would be a great reward!

Woww nice to meet you Eric! Thank you for starting this and we minnows are really grateful for that!! I'm Susan, a university student from Hong Kong:) I joint Steemit because it provides me the motivation to genuinely share useful information and experience with people around the world😆. I've always wanted to promote Steemit in our University, and it turned out to be quite successful. ✏️I organised a meeting at the University of Hong Kong, facilitating offline interaction between Steemians at the University:) I know Steemit enables us to make real friends :)

On Steemit I make relatively long and high-quality posts on travel, culture, art, food and Hong Kong, and I'm glad to have received many positive feedback :) This is an example of my recent post on Hengdian World Studios. And, as I'm learning Korean, I've tried my best to make some posts in Korean ;pp Here is an example of me writing in 3 langauges (Eng, Kr, Cn) :P I like art, too!!! I love drawing, and this is an example of my work - a rosy rose 🌹

I hope you like what I do on Steemit!! I'm grateful for the opportunity to let people know more about me and let's make Steemit a better place! Cheers!

I m a new one who is trying to learn from steemit many things......your writings as i read some of them are very good and your are creative....

Well this is a very motivating post @anomadsoul, I'm actually proud of my previous post, although it's a contest I participated in
    PicsArt_03-31-12.03.33.jpg
You can see the steps I used with my smartphone to create this lovely art in the link below.
    https://steemit.com/creativecrypto/@jesse12/crypto-logo-art-challenge-round-2-ethereum-edition-my-lovely-cubism
    I love art, and music
That's what I majorly post about,
Being in school and making great art has left me with a smiling face cause when I gained admission into my tertiary institution I was like how would I continue my design, but I remembered a quote which says "What happens to you doesn't really matter, What matters most is what you're going to do about it"
Then I thought about this, at this point I felt encouraged.
And I decided to participate in the contest though I know it doesn't really look great but I'll boldly say I love it
No matter what I don't give up
    I'm a follower of you
    I don't know if that's enough to reciprocate @anomadsoul
    Thanks for this.

Hello @anomadsoul I have really read very good comments about why you should follow one of us.
In particular I think that I am not the one to ask for your Follow because I believe that one gains that through the facts.
I arrived at the platform in February of this year as the great majority of the Steemians, looking for a monetary option to face the economic problems of my beloved Venezuela, but over time I understood that this became a secondary motivation. For some time I have proposed to provide the community with tools to face life in a positive way. I think that while we change our mentality we can make this a better world. Obviously, I still have a lot to correct but I hope to polish myself with patience and effort. If I have the grace to read one of my publications it would be an honor and I would also appreciate your comments on it. You know that criticism is also learned. Greetings and thanks for reading me together to all the minnows that came to this publication

wow, nice sir. because your always checking your feed like what i always do. i dont know but i have 40 plus follower . then the way i posted, no one will upvote my post .. i think they dont like my post or they dont check their feeds :) i am new to this community , hope you will follow me even if i don't have a power :( thanks and good luck .. more power sir @anomadsoul.. wishing to follow me too

    Vay bu güzeldi

What's up. My name is Amir,24 I'm from Iraq. I joined this platform to express my creativity through writings and making videos, I mainly make jokes, the proclaimed "dark humor" ones, I believe that nothing is off limits in my comedy, I believe if it exists, a joke can be made about it.

While I pride myself for being a comedian first, I still write about serious stuff, such as political and social problems in the world but specifically in Iraq to raise awareness, be it about treatment of children in Iraq, or the free law of murder toward gay people. I'm versatile in subjects soon I'm starting to translate and share my stories.

As I said, in the end I am comedian at first and this is a sample that I wrote as an entry for #comedyopenmic

I am donaldpete, a regular adult and random writer. I blog because Even though I'm not such a great writer, I still believe I can impact people's life with positive Vibes.
Here is a link to an interesting post https://steemit.com/writing/@donaldpete/death-unworthy-of-a-tear-8c41148bf616d

With so far 80 received comments, it looks like you have found yourself a good way to spend the 2nd Easter day 😀

Here is my little convincing story. A lot of my posts are about Steemit and mostly investigations and crunching numbers. My posts are for intermediate readers, so not to simple and not to difficult.

As it always takes some time to investigate something you don't see to many posts from me. And I also try to write posts that you can read in 1 minute. I aim to write 2-3 posts per week.

Since I write these type of short posts I think you should not reward those with a100% upvote. Of course that only applies in case you would start following me.

See here as example one of my first posts about my winning curation strategy
    https://steemit.com/curation/@crypto-econom1st/winning-curation-strategy-part-1

    Hello @anomadsoul ..
My name is nanda, I am your faithful followers. I've also participated in the contest you made. Honestly, I still lack the science of writing, but I want to learn from great people like you.
You are great at writing. I do not know what to say moreover, it's obvious you're great, and I deserve to learn more from you.
    I'm sure you'll follow me. :-)
