How to Polish Your Post
Don’t just sit down, write, and publish. Get your ideas written down – and then refine them.Work on your title. Revise until it reaches out to you. Make it compelling, interesting, unusual, provocative, descriptive, concise, and just plain GOOD.Reorganise your headings. Move sections around if they could be placed in a more logical sequence.Revise your wording. Don’t just go with what you write the first time. Cut out any words or paragraphs if they don’t add anything to the post – or they interrupt the flow.Find a great image to get people excited about your post before they even read it.But above all, learn when it’s time to stop editing and time to get your post up. Don’t aim for a perfect post or spend days changing things around.
