Welcome to steemit. A good way to start of on steemit is making a post in the introduceyourself category. If the post is well made it can start you off on steemit really quickly.

Downvoting a post can decrease pending rewards and make it less visible. Common reasons:

  • Disagreement on rewards
  • Fraud or plagiarism
  • Hate speech or trolling
  • Miscategorized content or spam
