First post guys, some introductory thoughts

Yay, I'm here. mainstream adoption is beginning!

I'm a 23-year-old Dutch programmer who is currently reading Grammarly for the first time right now too.

Jup, that's me. The guy with the (mini)afro.

The photo was taken at a PHP conference (PHPday à Vérona), for work. It was a long weekend, and oh boy was it great! eating the craziest of software. What a community. It's great because even the hardcore insiders hate the language! However, even though the language is built so badly, the people I met there were the greatest of programmers, who were all working together to connect the world through amazing applications, with a kind of skill I cannot even fathom.

I can't stand PHP, and I am fundamentally against everything PHP. It's the times when something fails that would work in any other language. The sighs that come when you have to work around a quirk in the language. I like C#. .NET core could be a good PHP replacement contender. However, that community tho, that community.

I believe this element of sharing, giving, receiving is the way to go to improve the state of the world. That's why this is so interesting. There's a lot of people here, some people who use the Steem platform to earn money, some are here to talk about investing in the currency, but there are a lot more tags that are popular too. The people using the network to get connected into their respective communities. I assume there will be as many topics in later stages as there are subreddits right now. We're going to change the world! People are getting more connected, new networks will be made, the world will get smaller.

People think this is a crypto-bubble, I think it's a revolution.

So that's a bit of how I view the world, I don't really like introducing myself, am more of an observer, but I don't know who to follow. Got any tips, ping me up :) I will blog some times about weird ideas coming up in my head (I have lots, but don't write them down (yet)). Interested in seeing who's out there :)
