Thank you, it is an honor!

Ahhh.. I’m sorry did your dog pass away @corpsvalues? My husband and I have had three amazing family dogs, two died from sickness, and one got hit by a car. Two of them had been with us four 19 years, very...very... heartbreaking. But they were all rescue dogs, so they all had wonderful lives with us, so that was awsome we felt good about saving them. We still have one dog, and three cats, also rescued. I know your pain sir, I hope I cheered you up with my “Big Pear 🍐” I drew. I’m following you now, I wanted to see if you were still having that comic contest you told me about yesterday? I couldn’t seem to find it on your blog, maybe I missed it. I hope you really didn’t throw away your adorable postinote, it’s cute! Blessings

No... Not dead but had to rehome her after having her for 4 years due to divorce and a 1.5 year old son who loved terrorizing her.
Thought about doing a ulog but the more I think about it the worse I feel.
So I did the tiniest briefest tribute I could. Probably will do more. Bite size seems to bite less at the moment.
Yes I liked your pear :) I think you do wonderful cartoons and I'd love to see your work shared in the cartoon-off contest!

I’m blessed the dog didn’t die! You can get real attached after four years, it’s really to bad. Sounds like you’ve had a ruff time lately, I’m sorry for that. Good luck in the new cartoon contest, looks pretty good so far @corpsvaIues! I did put in an entry into your contest a few minutes ago. Hope it puts a smile 😊 on your face, and thank you for inviting me to join up, I appreciate it very much thank you. Bless you❣️

Aw, I'm sorry you had to rehome her. Divorce sucks. Sometimes kids suck. LOL (I've got 4 boys; 3 are mine and a stepson I adore). I've had several dogs over the years and devastated every time one crossed the rainbow bridge. Hopefully she's in a great home and living a good life. Not good for you but hopefully there is some comfort in that.

Totally agree with you on life suckiness, but we get through it somehow. I love my son to death he's a sweet kid he just loved finding the scariest object in the room picking it up and chasing (Ripley) with it. And no idea what the housing situation will be when the house sells. Ripley is such a sweet dog, very gentle and loves kids, but she is easily startled and scared. So she would either be getting chased around by my kid who has no long term memory of how to love the dog yet or locked up by herself.
So I decided to do what seemed best for her and found a family with their own home and a gated yard and two older kids. Evidently their kids were so happy they cried when she came home and she sleeps with them at night and plays Barbies with them during the day :)

I just had an image of her with a big bonnet sitting patiently during "tea time" with Barbies. Sounds like puppy heaven especially if tiny sandwiches are involved. LOL Sounds like you made a very difficult, but loving decision.

Duely noted. But sorry. It would defeat the purpose of a message that can fit on a post-it note.
