If you know some filipino of you got a friend who is filipino you might notice how we love

FOOD!

yes, we love it!maybe its just me (pardon me) but i think most of the "pinoys" out there could relate to it.
Ive been to quite some countries , experience there language, culture and food.
But only filipinos serve a variety of foods from soup, rice , fish ,chicken , "lechon"(roasted pig) ,and pleanty of desserts to choose from. You'll go home with a full stomach and maybe even some doggybags.

I Think one of the major reason why we love food is our culture.
Whether it is "fiesta" , winning a game of basketball or any other game,
graduating from kindergarten ,elementary , high school ,getting a deal, or no special occasion all.
We will be happy to serve you food ,wether we are rich or poor with what we have.
When you arrive on a filipinos house either with notice or (mostly) without they'll welcome you with all there hospitality,
offer you something .Which here in the Netherlands ,would come as a rude thing if you do not set an appointment ,either its your family or best friend.

SECOND is We love Gathering together

We love gatherings, not just a simple gathering with family but gathering with your neighbors ,friends , friends of friends at some random times.Food is our way of somewhat socializing .Wherein family brings one dish and then eats together or have a picnic .

JUST BECAUSE
"YOU ONLY LIVE ONCE"

Now that i think of it really makes me feel home sick.Missing those genuine people with genuine smiles on there faces even on rough times.
