Potential Health Products was created by two psychotherapists who had a clear vision of creating a premium CBD product. Dr. Annette Nunez and Maylene Johnson, LPC have both worked as licensed psychotherapists for over three decades combined. Through the years they have seen individuals experience negative side effects associated with prescribed medications and wanted to explore a holistic alternative. As psychotherapists they understand the importance of the mind, body, and soul working harmoniously together in which one cannot efficiently work with the other. Their mission is to not only provide education about CBD, but to increase awareness around mental health and offer tips and strategies that people can incorporate into their daily lives.
Our ancestors have used tinctures in medicine for centuries. A tincture combines extracts with a base for oral use, cooking, or baking. When you mix CBD with another carrier oil, such as organic medium-chain triglycerides (MCT) oil or extra virgin olive oil, it becomes a tincture. Most commonly, CBD companies infuse alcohol with CBD oil to make tinctures. Some companies use alcohol to extract phytocannabinoids from hemp plant matter. Manufacturers then strain the mixture and bottle the alcohol and CBD oil combination as tinctures. Potential Health uses a less abrasive medium, such as organic extra virgin olive oil or organic medium-chain triglycerides (MCT) oil. Our CBD oil is hemp extract, a viscous oil enriched with phytocannabinoids, terpenes, and other beneficial molecules. Our Tinctures do not contain alcohol.

The hemp used in Potential Health CBD Tinctures are Premium grade broad Spectrum CBD and is USA-grown and manufactured in the USA. Our tinctures are made with USDA Certified Organic distillate, which is extracted from the hemp biomass using USDA Certified Organic ethanol, one of the purest and reliable methods in the industry. All of the THC, waxes, and chlorophyll are removed in a stringent purification process, resulting in a pure, golden oil that goes into our products. The remainder of our products use distillate that is extracted using either CO2 or food-grade ethanol and goes through a similar purification process. No THC is detected according to our lab reports.
