The Sheikh Zayed mosque is indeed the third largest mosque after the Grand Mosque in Mecca and the Nabawi Mosque in Medina. The United Arab Emirates government deliberately restricted the large and large mosque named after their dead leader, Sheikh Zayed, in order not to exceed the area of both mosques. While naming the name of the former leader of the United Arab Emirates first is to honor and commemorate his great name as a leader who is loved and respected by both the people and other kings in the countries of the Middle East. Due to trigger died during the making of this mosque, then Sheikh Zayed was buried in an area beside the mosque.
The beauty of the mosque is equipped with thousands of precious stones selected for its decoration. There is a huge crystal chandelier hanging from the ceiling with a very beautiful shape. It is said that the German-made crystal chandelier decorated with zwarosky crystal is worth 8 million dollars. The floor of the mosque is lined with handmade carpets from 1,200 female carpets craftsmen from Khorasan, in Eastern Iran completed for 2 years and scores 50 knotted carpet designs there. The carpet weighs about 45 tons and costs more than 8.5 million dollars!
The beautiful carpet covers the entire main prayer hall that can accommodate about 9,000 worshipers simultaneously. Next to the room there are two more prayer halls that can accommodate each of 1,500 people and is intended for female worshipers. The women's prayer room is equipped with a giant sailing telecast displaying the lecture and prayer making it easier for women to follow.
The new mosque, due to be completed in November next year, will cost the world $ 545 million to get international attention, bringing many tourists, both Muslims and non-Muslims to visit. Recorded visits from tourists Germany, France, England, Italy, Russia, America, Argentina, India, and Indonesia.
