The writer's quest

To feel the energy of what I write... it has become my new quest. To achieve a writing that doesn’t dwell on the past, that trusts the future and embraces the present. I would like my words to bring you to a place of comfort and relief of questions.

Does that sound like a bad thing? Should you be afraid? All of the sudden this stranger appears and wants me to take off my armor! Does he think himself a guru? An ascended master? An enlightened?!

Just silence
Feel the flowing tides of inner energy
These questions are muddy water
They swallow your feet
They don’t let you fly

To breath between the words, that is my new quest. To forget success and avoid abusing the praise. I want to be full of meaning, I want to be empty of anxiety, I want this to count.

I want my words to summon the rain, to light more than one fire, to feed the organic layers in which we grow, to be the wind that carries the seeds of an ethereal era.

I was once free. I remember the moment without time. I remember soft disintegration into the golden light of ecstasy. I remember you were there. You were always there.

This is so cozy, you know? It’s like watching Netflix on a rainy day with your lover. A day without battles to be won, a day in which it’s only natural to say thank you.

Now that I know who I’m talking to there are so many things I want to say to you! You really have created quite the show here! So many characters and personalities! And what a diversity of colorful creatures!

I rejoice in this creation for once. I stop the hypocrisy, the shame and the guilt, the words that carry poison. Let’s all dare to take a step forward.

I know that many who have met me won’t be here on my final day but that’s ok, I’m certain that they’re living colorful dreams. I’m so relieved to know that in the end, nothing depended on me.

A final quest to consider: be kind to yourself. The next fantasy should be one where everything is just fine. Give yourself that chance, at least once in life.

I remember a time when I allowed words to flow freely. I didn’t need for them to make sense, nor to be of good sound when read. They just needed to come easy, feel light; trickling down like water. This is what I want to feel.

I will let go of problems. They no longer serve me, I have spent to much time in the shadow and it has become obvious it doesn’t want to let me go. Self-doubt can only go for so long before it becomes sickness. I recognize this and welcome the medicine of acceptance.

To begin a new day as a free person, huh?. It can be a bit overwhelming, so many options! But the good thing is that none are wrong. It is clear that all paths will have great results if the walk is well paced and confident.

It’s good to make a lot of stops as well. Contemplating the scenery and giving the soul time to heal often places the right intentions.
