A worthy battle — SteemCN

It was a battle of note. In the last days, it was a three horse race.

It was a battle that saw the ebb and flow as, at different times, each of the three were top of the tree.

In the final hours there were only two horses left. And, as is the case with many battles, the army with weight of numbers won.

Continuing with the clichés and bad battle analogy, this battle has seen a small group, led by its own Joan of Ark, rally troops from all over the world and the blockchain.

I can only endorse @jaynie's sentiments about the battle royal, congratulating team @votovzla on a hard-fought win.

Thank you must also go to @theycallmedan without whom this week would not have happened. It has created energy and enthusiasm like I have not seen in a long time. Certainly not in my experience on @Steemit.

Perhaps @ned's vision for a social platform is being realised. Not that I am suggesting another contest in a hurry. I don't think we would cope!

Time for @jaynie and @zord and the @steemitbloggers #PowerHouseCreatives camp to get some well-deserved rest so that we can all resume “normal programming”. Thank you, one and all
