There was a time when I used to collect old tins but as time went by, I got rid of most of them - due to lack of space, plus the fact that they were just more items to keep clean.
However, I did keep a couple as I really liked them.
Tins today do not have the same detail on them and are so thin - no where near the same quality as the old ones.
This photo is of a couple of my remaining tins - I especially love the Oxo one - what do you think?

Howdy lizziesworld! oh these are interesting, I love antiques and these look old. I can see why you like them, very interesting paint jobs on them. I'm surprised they still have them these days since everything is plastic.
