Disco Arts & crafts

in powerhousecreatives •  5 years ago

Back again from the Hockey Summit of the Arts where a whole ass load of hosers congregate in Toronto to celebrate the sport and art that brings us together.

In this shot, you can behold a team effort as the Dufferin Groove parks the sticks and works together to assemble our iconic Dee Gees medallions. We have a couple forwards, our groovy goalie and the team captain defence man untangling a ball of gold chain and attaching each one to a 3-d printed logo that will be part of our costume tonight on stage.

We also got an update from another forward that checked into his hotel, had the receptionist notice his costume, sparkles and medallion and upgrade their room to a suite because he was part of a Bee-gees cover band at The Horseshoe.

Check out the disco ball helmet in the upper left and my sparkly helmet on the table. The lengths we go for a single, onetime show may be over the top but that is what makes it fun.

Disco and hockey, who would have thunk it LOL. Sounds like a good time!

Yah that is part of what makes this weekend so special. Once I get home, I will have to show you some of the other weird combinations.

I think you are outdoing yourself again! Make sure to shoot a video of your performance like the STP cover!

Yah for sure. There were so many cameras around, I will have to collect some video to share the stupidity.

a whole ass load of hosers

Was that a metric ass load or an Imperial ass load?

I would say we had a metric assload. Pouring through the pictures as the come in now and can measure properly and report back.
