The use of a generator in Nigerian homes is just very paramount, the more we are told about the side effect, the more we have no other option than to get one for ourselves especially the small ones we call (I pass my neighbour) since that is what most people can afford to purchase for themselves.
A generator is very important for us here because of the low rate of electrical supply, I don't think anyone has been able to give a good enough reason for the fact that we cannot just have stable electricity, but every government that comes on seat claims to be a better one.
Personally, I hate the fact that my generator makes so much noise because I feel it disturbs the people who live around, I am a very considerate person so I think about it in such a manner that, I am the only one enjoying the power supply in my room, I mean the fan, I get to charge my phones and other items, while the only thing neighbours enjoy is the noise, except if they want to charge their phones as well.
Speaking of disturbance and inconvenience, sometimes when you think you are disturbing your neighbours with the sound of your generator, they will even be the one pleading with you to allow it remain on so that they can get to charge their chargeable materials as well.
Someone might say we should use solar, but to get a solar pannel that will chrge your phones and laptop will cost so much that you will prefare to just keep fueling your generator constantly.
