corporate crime wave, corporate campaign cash
causes of poverty – frozen minimum wage, underinsured for health care, unaffordable housing, criminal justice reform, and low utilization of tort law.
fund Congressional Office of Technology Assessment (OTA) about big technological/scientific decisions – ballistic missile defense, electromagnetic or cyber-attacks, driverless car hype, runaway artificial intelligence, nanotech, biotech and many other unassessed innovations
speculation, rather than investment, by the financial markets …from stock buybacks to off-the-charts executive compensation, which weaken the economy and keep shareholders powerless
consumer protection – credit agreements and contract fine-print servitude or peonage.
fundamental reform of our tax laws. IRS estimates $400 billion a year of uncollected tax revenue, mostly from rich oligarchs
failed military and foreign policies – their costs, their boomerangs, and their unlawful violent impact on innocent peoples and communities around the world!
planet’s environmental disruptions from t climate crisis to water usage, to soil erosion, deforestation, and ocean pollution
electoral reforms – dealing with campaign finance corruption to gerrymandering, to voter repression, ballot access obstruction, & unequal treatments
government-funded infrastructure or public works for more efficient and clean communities and their rebuilding
Shift power from the few to the many, empower the people to more easily band together as workers, consumers, small taxpayers, voters, litigants as large audiences using the public airwaves
make Congress more accountable for the people, not corporate lobbyists. Democracy is just a shell when there is not transparency, it is a lie and a sham.
Ralph lets it rip on this list !
