Is not all bad news when STEEM price is going downsteemCreated with Sketch.

Hi friends,

This is just my personal opinion with the time I've been using steemit. When I first started steemit the price was over $1.2 and I felt fine with that it did not affected my overall experience. I regret not saving SBD for when the price of it spike and STEEM was really cheap. By that time many new users started steemit and made their intro posts with rewards usually over $20(STEEM) in which some cases were almost $200 USD. In that moment I was suggesting every new user to invest buying cheap STEEM and power up. Most of the new users cashed out and converted SBD to other altcoins which I hope they still hold or have converted back to STEEM. The thing is that over the process I've been constantly suggesting to keep holding and buy more STEEM and get it to STEEM Power which is the actual money maker over long run. Your votes worth more and your ROI will increase exponentially.

Today's overview seems different price is going down and I'm still suggesting to either wait for STEEM to be cheap or constantly power up. The main idea is to get SP up as much as possible and get the benefits of bigger rewards in the long run. I've seen the price go from $1.20 to $0.75 and then to $11 and it has been slowly retracting to about $2.5, I'm expecting it to continue going down.

It is not all bad news when it comes from price changes you can always buy the dip and sell in the peak. For all new users and minnows like myself I believe in this simple rule:

STEEM/SBD ratio

Why that? What does that mean? you might ask. Usually prices are not paired to the same price sometimes SBD worth more than STEEM making a great STEEM buying opportunity no matter what the actual price is. On the other hand when STEEM worth more than SBD is the time to create more 100% power up posts boosting your chances to increase SP. My long term position is that all the SP I've grown is mine and no matter what the price is it is the fuel to boost rewards in long term.

Think about it, amassing STEEM or SBD is not helping you get more. Power up will in fact be the snowball effect you are looking to get bigger rewards and while you are doing that try to help new steemians that vehicle that will get them to where they want to be.

I've successfully run few programs to help minnows.

The last one being the truly boost for minnows who are engage in the platform.
