Uff, 41% but I have only been here for 5 weeks now...I don't know what to think about that. Well, I will try to share more haha I love your signature, how did you make it? ^^

@lauralemons drew my character, then i added stickers. You're so new, that I totally understand why you would want to upvote your own. Remember i have been blogging for over a year here, so I am at a different stage....
As far as noobs are concerned, I would place emphasis on these things:
communicating with others (both in comments and on steemit chat)
helping others
entertaining others
learning how and why Steem was even built.

Thank you, I will do my best @stellabelle :)

thats so kind of you that u are not ignoring newbies so lucky to have seniors like u

Ā  Ā· Ā 7 years agoĀ

5 weeks and you have such a big upvote.. man what did you do.. I also have 45%.. but still don't now if it is good or bad...

Still okay, when you are a whale then is more ethical and better for the platform not to vote oneself ;)

Ā  Ā· Ā 7 years agoĀ

How did you get such a Good upvote?

I bought steem when it was really cheap ;)

Ā  Ā· Ā 7 years agoĀ

And the delegation?

Ā  Ā· Ā 7 years agoĀ (edited)

Why to buy 20000 Steem when I can get them borrowed? I sold Steem when it raised to 1.8$ and but other coins with more potential to grow in the short term, like NEO, OMG, TenX, District0x, CoinDash, 0x etcetera. One needs to have a really good strategy to get the most of investing in cryptocurrency. Delegation here in steemit is the best choice for me right now. Cheers!

Ā  Ā· Ā 7 years agoĀ (edited)

Similar self vote percentage and time of residence on Steemit as @rival here. Maybe if and when I'm at 70+ I can afford to go self vote free but for now, with just 100 followers, it's an important tool for a noob.

I haven't been here very long and have never bought steem but rather have built what has accumulated through only comments. I've not posted much either. Really, I just like meeting people of like minds, reading and gaining knowledge through their experiences. The freedom here is inspiring over other sites I'm not interested in supporting also. My wallets not big by any means but it is, IMO, a bonus and not the main focus. When I began here, I never self upvoted but and wasn't aware it was an option until finding it through browsing around. I must admit that I do upvote my comments more now but the penny I get for doing so really doesn't do much if anything at all for me. I've made a lot of great friends here and truly enjoy the site with the idea that in the future, way down the road, it'll be another way that I've diversified the nest egg for my family :) Great post. Enjoyed as it made me think a bit............,

wow, you're probably in the minority, but we need people like you! Have you brought in your friends?

I talk about it to them all the time and some seem interested but still like their FB. What I have done, and I suggest everyone do this, is dropping hints in the comments of your favorite youtube channels as most of those guys are suffering these days due to lower revenues and censorship. It has paid off in that I've seen a few of my favorites here on steemit theses days. Thank you for the compliment. It means a lot and put a smile on my face! I'll see you around stellabelle. Nice to have met you............ :)

Ā  Ā· Ā 7 years agoĀ

Actually thanks for the idea, now is a great time to promote Steemit to Youtube. Have you guys heard about their new flagging algorithm? It identifies "controversial" content, and auto-bans the entire channel, all without a human touch a button and without any means of appeal.

It's especially insane because if you talk to people who've been watching closely, "controversial" apparently applies to certain types of content, but not to others.

great to hear about your new method in not self voting - i am still fairly new and have tried not voting on mine a couple of times - my vote is only worth 5c . Am trying to create good content and do something to help musicians on steemit , i want to grow with the platform.

Ā  Ā· Ā 7 years agoĀ

That's a good observation, that we maybe running out of readers. Maybe a built in issue, in order to read and upvote you have to go through the difficult process of applying to get into Steemit.

I'm back into buying because I sold a lot when the price was low.

I think back to the story of how @trafalgar became a millionaire on here......He bought Steem when it was like 40 cents, and then went all in.....he put in $100,000 and when the Steem price shot up, his $100,000 turned into $1,000,000. That's when my mind changed.......I realized I need to be putting more in.

lol, I just looked at my chart and I self-vote at 53.7%... is that bad??

Ā  Ā· Ā 7 years agoĀ (edited)

Let me take a look at your overall profile. I will say this though....I am most concerned about the huge SP holders who self vote, as I think it sets a bad example.....with smaller minnows upvoting their own posts, i have mixed feelings. If your account is tiny, you're not going to be able to make much and your strategy is not really that good long term. Let me look at your account, hold on.

Ā  Ā· Ā 7 years agoĀ

I heard this upvoting idea before regarding minnows. The advice I got was to upvote yourself until you get a slider. Then upvote only one of your posts each day - or none - depending upon how you feel at the time yo have become so successful.

The reason given for this option was motivation. At least this way none of your posts will sit there with $0.00. I feel good about this plan and will definitely turn my automatic upvoting off on the wonderful day that I get a slider :)

yeah, i can see that motivation would help newbies, although other methods would be more effective. For example if a newbie would host a Steem party and help others get Steemit accounts, or teach them how to use Steemit, they would get way more votes from the steem community.

Ā  Ā· Ā 7 years agoĀ

That's a ton of unknown work for those us trying to figure out how to format posts and etc. I'm in #nicnicy's minnowsfaucet and that might be similar to what you are thinking of. He struggles to get participation.

My choice is to create a steemer twitlist on Twitter and tweet good posts and rt my steemer friend's good posts. I'm "big" on Twitter and my new activity has really boosted that account. The posts come through beautifully. Oddly - the vast majority of the many rts I get on steem posts are from my non-steemer connections over there. But I'm happy for any action. If it is from offsite - maybe we get new blood over here.

I'm about to make some posts to educate my new steem tweeps on how to do better on Twitter to get more interest for steemit. I've got 50+ of them on my list in a short time. That is more than enough to make a difference if we work together. I coach twitter, so I'm re-purposing some of that information for here and hoping for the best result.

This is mind-blowing.

Ā  Ā· Ā 7 years agoĀ (edited)

I like your work. As I can see you just joined in July, so you are very new. Your work is original and it even has a hook: moustaches! I would imagine that 2 months of blogging, you're getting frustrated. Have you joined the yunk channel in steemit chat? It's now probably a good time to explore outwards, make friends, and do some vlogs wearing giant moustaches! You need to really get into the moustache theme, as make your mark on this site as 'THE ONLY MOUSTACHE'. I HAVE IDEAS FOR YOU.

Ā  Ā· Ā 7 years agoĀ (edited)

Ahh thanks for checking out my stuff! Yes I actually already have a pretty sweet mustache, there is a pic of me on my blog lol.

I have never checked out Steemit chat and yes I am very new. I decided to start a blog to help encourage my friends to get into crypto, and then I found Steemit while doing research. Seemed like a good place to post my blogs and now im HOOKED! hahah

@stellabelle I want ideas!

Ā  Ā· Ā 7 years agoĀ

I stopped self-voting a while back as I want to reward others to help them out. I'm also delegating some of my SP to those who can make good use of it. It's not all about earning for yourself. We need to build something much bigger to really do well for ourselves. For now we need to deal with the abuse of the system to make Steemit more attractive.

Yes, Steve, you are absolutely right! I think it's the Fear Vs. Love battle that rages on inside human hearts. I really applaud you being so community oriented! Thank you.

Ā  Ā· Ā 7 years agoĀ

I can't believe steem has went under a dollar. However, I don't know why I'm complaining. I'm just a small minnow and I need to accumulate as much SP as I can before it is too late haha

Regarding curations, I agree as time goes on it is going to be harder to find consumers and curators.

I don't know if that is because after HF 19 people have been reserving their upvote due to voting power or because of the numbers of users joining creating content and ultimately creating this flood of posts.

My self-upvote percentage used to be around 20% (now it is 14%) before but that was because when I first joined the platform I would upvote everything I'd see including my posts even though my upvotes were worth $0.00... nothing. It did more harm than it helped me and after HF 19 hit I don't think I've ever self-upvoted myself on a comment.

As time goes on that number will keep getting smaller and smaller and I hope I can get to around 1% or 2% but I'm glad I'm not like some people I've seen who have 50%+

Also while the price of steem is low I've been converting all my SBD to Steem and I hope so before it gets too expensive @stellabelle! :)

Ā  Ā· Ā 7 years agoĀ

Let's enjoy steemit together(^^)v

Yes, I very happy I found you.

Ā  Ā· Ā 7 years agoĀ

I commented on @jerrybanfield's post about the upvoting of your own posts, nobody responded to my questions though... Can I do any harm to my account If I do that... If I upvote others too much, do I harm myself?
Because I thought the whole point of Steemit was to reward interesting posts from others...
I am pretty new here, and really in the dark for the moment

the entire point of steem is to find and reward others, and build community. Your reputation gets increased when others who have a higher rep upvote you. It's supposed to build upon the concept of esteem. Holding others in high esteem.....that is the concept. Plus, if you find posts that go big, you're rewarded. Now it's not perfect....Since you're new, your account has little weight. You don't have a lot of influence over this site right now.
The process of figuring out your unique contribution to Steemit is tough. Steem is a decentralized autonomous organization, and there are many jobs to be done in here. You must know who you are before you begin to earn rewards. Jerry had a big following before he came in here. They are his fans who upvote him. I also had a fair number of people follow me in here from Facebook, so they follow me in here....but most of the work i did was inside Steemit....I try to figure out how to improve things and work behind the scenes helping people....as much as possible....I'm not perfect though..

Ā  Ā· Ā 7 years agoĀ

Thanks for clearing that out for me! I like this platform and my blog keeps growing while I'm doing something a like very much..

I am a stayer, that's for sure!

By the way, what would be fun at being perfect? Nothing to strive for...

Ā  Ā· Ā 7 years agoĀ

@stellabelle I've been trying to get a grip on the platform for several days now and this is honestly the best summary I've found. I'm adding this idea to my header actually, to remind myself and others.

Hi!

Wouldn't it help newer people if they immediately upvoted their own post? It could get them into the hot category, giving them more of a chance.

Other than that, I think it is definitely best to upvote others!

Great catch on your steem purchase! :)

it's hard to get into hot category currently if your account is low.
Newbies have to try out many different things and see what works.

Ā  Ā· Ā 7 years agoĀ

Time to change your reputation badge to 75!!!! Lol

Well, minnows don't need to self-upvote, just signup and use the MinnowSupportProject network: https://steemit.com/@minnowsupport

Ā  Ā· Ā 7 years agoĀ

You are right, it's up a lot

Ā  Ā· Ā 7 years agoĀ

@stellabelle thank you so much for showing the skeptics the way to success. I wrote about this same issue yesterday (feel free to see my latest blog posts-I mentioned you there) as a once in a life time opportunity. Time to show support to the best platform on earth and use this opportunity to power up . Time for minnows to eat enough fish and grow into dolphines and whale...hiyaaaaaaaaaaa. Lets go fishing.... buy steem and power up

way cool!

Ā  Ā· Ā 7 years agoĀ

Haha, feel free to join me my dear

You show yourself as someone who truly cares about Steemit, and you lead by example. And who could ask for a better inspiration than that?

Self-votes don't really make sense (even though it's the default when you write a new post); it always seemed to me like going to amazon and buying copies of your own book, and then pointing at "how well sales are going."

Well, I will be totally transparent here: I am interested in survival and my own investment. My investment is mostly in time, as I spent 12 hours a day on this site, for nearly a year. I consider it a place that I feel I can make a difference in, and I want to protect my own Steem investment, too.

Ā  Ā· Ā 7 years agoĀ

I was fascinated by that post from Jerry too and studied it for trends. Quite a number of the least generous voters are also powering down so it seems they do not share your optimism and hope. Good for them if it is time to leave and do something else.

But I sure hope this excellent platform survives and thrives. I feel like I can do well here if I persist and work as hard as you do at it. I'm surely putting in the hours now :)

I think there will be a market here, and even during the low price of steem times, we were still earning. It was certainly depressing, but it was still working.
What i worry about is the over complex nature of this. I feel that a competitor could simplify it....

Ā  Ā· Ā 7 years agoĀ

lol - Out of at least 20 places I have posted in the 6+ years I've been at this - nothing else comes close to the complexity. I can't believe I have put so much time in and I tell myself it is paying off even though I still know almost nothing and have hundreds of unanswered questions on my list.

Ā  Ā· Ā 6 months agoĀ

This is gold!

yeah, that's a great analogy! I care more about what others think of me, than what i think of myself. Success is measured in the lenses of other people's eyes. So, I have a new challenge for myself.

I am truly inspired. Thank you for sharing. I just joined the community here two weeks ago and felt that I needed to upvote my own post to show if no one else cares, I do. But now having to see this post, I'm seeing there is no need to show proof that someone likes me to persuade the next reader to hit that upvote button. If no one is responding than that simply means its time to do a little more research and crafting so that I am putting forth quality material. Thanks again for this share.

well you're new, and i have been here for over a year. I think newbies have a difficult challenge.....persistance pays more than anything else.

This is NUTS !

Ā  Ā· Ā 7 years agoĀ

I wish i has that much money. but it is a great initiavites to stop doing self voting. With your big name, i guess everyone will follow you and give it back to the comunity.
šŸ˜€šŸ˜€

Thanks @stellabelle, and welcome to the club of no self-upvoting! Just as a point of reference, it was YOUR post about Steemit as a "gift economy" that originally inspired me to stop that practice. I believe in the whole pay it forward thing... but that also means I have to put my faith in the system and walk my talk.

It's hard to believe Steem went under $1.00... seems like basically buying it "on sale" at the moment. I guess others had the same idea... just checked Bittrex (at 3:00pm US Pacific) and there's a bit of a mini-rally going now, and it's not just following BTC off its morning lows.

I keep coming back to this single thought: There's no "they" who will come blazing in and fix any issues we have on Steemit. We're decentralized... so that makes US the "they" responsible for creating the future. And I think that's were many of our problems can be traced to... people more concerned about "their next 5 cents" than whether or not we will still HAVE a Steemit in 2020, or 2025. My actions are VERY SELFISHLY oriented towards the latter!

dam steem is cheap!!!!

I also buy Steem but I expect it to go down more. And this is a correction and give the signal, future price support

Ā  Ā· Ā 7 years agoĀ (edited)

And what about the idea of writing posts not in Japanese, but in #Esperanto?
Esperanto is a very light and very powerful language.
You can learn it in 1-2 months.

Write posts in the language of Esperanto is the best idea to become unique and valuable in the community of the steemians.

Buying coins for less than one dollar is a good idea, because the real price of a coin is at least $ 2.
This is a good investment.

P.S.:
No Self Voting

http://steemreports.com/outgoing-votes-info/?account=komersreal

wow, you're in the exclusive club already! Yeah, if you build the Esperanto community, maybe you can attract more of the people who can communicate in it.

It did not feel dark falling
End of the night to a cold morning
There are only a few stars tonight
Maybe because you're beautiful
Then my eyes felt embarrassed
The deeper he was embarrassed this time
Sometimes he was afraid
When he passes in the middle of his flight
In the evening
Towards the morning
A little anxious
Lots of longing

That is a really cool analytics tool!

Ā  Ā· Ā 7 years agoĀ

A large investment you did, Best of luck.
Do you think it is better to invest BTC also ?

@stellabelle, awesome! I also wanted to buy some extra but see a lot of price differences. Polo is cheap ($0.89) but has problems, Bittrex expensive ($1.06), but works. Where did you buy them?

bittrex. i use only that

Ā  Ā· Ā 7 years agoĀ

I too, recently put some money into SteemPower (about $200AUD) - I checked, and much to my own horror, I have 6.7% 'self votes' for my posts. You're in the top five for people I've voted for, though! :)

I'm lower than the 'pay-for-vote' bots, (as you know from the various posts I've done on the topic) but I'd rather this number get closer to zero in my long term Steem-life.

Thank you for sharing this tool. I didn't know it existed.

I think you made a very good decision , I know a lot of people had been waiting for the Price of a Steem to fall so they are able to power up . It's a great investment because I believe that the price will rise again, I have been holding onto it and plan to hold onto it until it reaches a good point . My votes aren't worth a lot , but they will be one day .

I'll be looking forward to your posts for witness and Jerry is very helpful man for tips and advices along with you and a few others . Great for beginners , anyone who wants to learn , or progress.

good job

Ā  Ā· Ā 7 years agoĀ

Nice pie chart to check out your self votes! I'm at 2.2%. Self votes are something I've never really understood, although I'm still a newbie!

I love the fact that you've invested back into Steem. It's a great vote of confidence not just for the future but also for everything you've already put into Steemit.

All the best!

Ā  Ā· Ā 7 years agoĀ

Yes, it's a serious challenge!
I'm new on the platform. At first I also upvoted myself (it seem funny with my power). It seemed that this could stimulate the reader. But I stopped.
In fact, I get more pleasure if I know that there is no my vote under the post).
I don't know, perhaps I would have a different opinion with a more powerfull votes.)
Therefore, I think your decision deserves respect!
Thank you dear @stellabelle for all what you do!

that was risky and a smart investment :)

I really like your post, your post is very useful for me and I will wait for the next posting.

Ā  Ā· Ā 7 years agoĀ

Eres poderosa un ejemplo para mi .solo llevo una semana en steemit

Ā  Ā· Ā 7 years agoĀ (edited)

I'm here since June and I'm mainly using steemit to find interesting articles(I use resteem mostly as an archiving tool since that way I can find the article later in my blog for further reading). I havent posted almost anything. There's plenty of people doing that every second and I know that way I wont get rich, but that wasnt my reason for staying on steemit anyway.
ScreenShot_20170819181128.png

wow, you're in da club!

Ā  Ā· Ā 7 years agoĀ (edited)

I think it's a good idea once you become a strong whale to stop upvoting your posts completely. However, I don't think it makes sense for minnows to do that yet. I've been noticing the price of steem as well and I hope that this is the bottom because it's also possible we might go back down to $0.70. I think a lot of it has to do with the fact that the minnows are spamming and also the fact that there's so many arguments at the top right now. Wish I had $1600 to spend. Can I borrow some? ;) I kid, I kid.

Ā  Ā· Ā 7 years agoĀ

thanks for sharing nice info.. god bless u

Ā  Ā· Ā 7 years agoĀ

Smart move!

Ā  Ā· Ā 7 years agoĀ

its the best time to buy more steem and power up the steemit account
resteemed!

I to will be buying Steem this weekend. I am watching it very closely now. And think it is a great buy at under $1. With that said I have had some renewed faith in the site, I few big upvotes here or there can do that for the little guys. Congrats and I like your strategy. Keep it up.

That Steem upvote chart is super awesome! Thanks for sharing that.

I was also thinking of investing in some Steem this morning with it being so low.

I have only been doing this platform for a month and a half, still trying to figure out the best strategy.

Do you really think it is worth it to have so much SP?

Yes I do. Right now there's no competition for a blockchain social media platform. This place changed my life in many ways!

I think we need to brainstorm. If you mix moustaches with cryptocurrency.......this could be your massive hook.
I mean only if you go over the top!

Hahahaha, have you seen my website @stellabelle? I write fun beginner crypto articles and do graphics with mustaches on them. https://www.cryptostache.com

Thank you for powering up!

I think you're one of Steemit's greatest participants and to see you reinvesting in Steemit makes me even more confident that it will grow in the right direction.

You always create quality content and participate in the community much more than over 99% of Steemians.

Also, thank you for joining the ranks of the "No Self Upvoters"! I measure my own progress by the engagement my posts generate in addition to the upvotes I get from the community, I think it's been a good measure.

The low value of steem is a golden opportunity to buy steem. That was a smart move on your side. Am sure the price of steem will be on the rise soon. Thank you for sharing, I enjoyed reading your post :)

Thanks for the tip!!! Just converted some alt coin to Steem. Waiting for it to show from Bittrex now. Yeah!! šŸ˜šŸ˜

Ā  Ā· Ā 7 years agoĀ

I'm down at 7% on that Self voting tool - I don't mind the self voting on a Post its the up voting on your own comments that should be stamped out.

And I agree Steemit is undervalued at the moment. Which is why I have bought some Steempower.

The Steemfest in that Fantastic City of Lisbon in Portugal, should start pushing it up again. And in the UK @stephenkendal is banging the Drum for Steemit.

All in all its a good time for Steemit.

And with any luck, I will flog a few T-Shirts. There is always an upside;D~

https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0733ZCPHD

I'm a noob as well and have 8.1% upvote. I stopped b/c my vote really does not add up to much anyways. Sometimes .01, sometimes 0 if I upvoted 5 or more times in a day. Got to put my time in just like everyone else!

if self voting bad then why it allowed

Ā  Ā· Ā 7 years agoĀ

Good post thanks for sharing

Ā  Ā· Ā 7 years agoĀ

Wow, I'm happy to hear that you'd like to start writing in Japanese too @stellabelle :) practice makes all the difference! I write in Japanese for the same reason, but it also contributes to the small Japanese community here on steemit. Hopefully it'll grow more :)

Ā  Ā· Ā 7 years agoĀ

If I get my steempower more up I start make this too .

Good decision to buy Steem again and I like your thoughts on upvoting your own posts. On a high SP level, it is not necessary anymore to do this.

Ā  Ā· Ā 7 years agoĀ

This is a great article and will make all my efforts because I am at the beginning and I hope your cooperation hank you,

good post
thank you
share my post

Ā  Ā· Ā 7 years agoĀ

Glad to see more people doing this, I am going for a lower self vote percentage as well. Currently I am at around 14% and hope to spend more time manually curating content. I starting buying in a little bit at a time back when it was around .08 and have been happy with small daily buys. I typically buy $5-10 per day so I can average the cost out over the highs and lows. If everyone committed to $2 a day buys Steem would skyrocket. I cant tell anyone else what to do so I continue to curate content and post less and try to lead by example. I plan to go back to posting maybe a few times per week and only Dark sky related content. Thanks for this post, we need more people to start thinking this way

Ā  Ā· Ā 7 years agoĀ

Ok - I enjoy your posts but what does this mean, and how do I do that?

"In other news, if you have not voted yet for @teamsteem, do it today. I'll be writing some posts on how to vote for Witnesses and why this is a good thing for you and the Steem ecosystem."

Ā  Ā· Ā 7 years agoĀ

Neimenovano.png

I been thinking of buying steem too since it so low right now....but idk....think i will just have to push myself and do it!

1600 USD... that is very nice. :)

Ā  Ā· Ā 7 years agoĀ

Good to know about the information I am also going to buy up voting power ant improve my voting power thankyou

im still confused by it all i would like to earn a bit as i struggle , but i have done some interesting posts and got nothing , i still dont get it

This was an interesting read. I quickly realized that there are many more writers than readers here. Quite frankly, I am quite disappointed but I will search for my niche and hope to find a group of readers and writers.

Good job

Ā  Ā· Ā 7 years agoĀ

Oh wow @stellabelle. 2% is miniscule. I also checked @jerrybanfield's earlier post. Some of the heavy hitters can Really give back a little more but hey, each to his own I guess. I applaud you for your bravery by aiming to become part of club 0% :):) Good luck and know we're all here to support you in whichever way we can :)

hey thanks for the resteem. i appreciate it. It's getting very hard to stand out in any way!

Ā  Ā· Ā 7 years agoĀ

Power Up all the way! I'm waiting for the price to go down further though, then I'll buy some and power up :)

when steem was $.20 I sold a bunch.....kicking myself now, but the winter was harsh!

Ā  Ā· Ā 7 years agoĀ

I hope I'm on track at 42.4 percent but I just started in June. I plan on not doing it as much as soon as my posts are seen more. You are really awesome for not upvoting yourself! Loved your Spam video too, lol! Have a great weekend!

Ā  Ā· Ā 7 years agoĀ

You are an amazing writer, si i don't have doubts about your succes, so... keep going

Thanks that means a lot. Writing has become my main passion, so I am very happy!

nice post @stellabelle
follow upvote and resteem

Ā  Ā· Ā 7 years agoĀ

lol, I just looked at my chart and I self-vote at 33.7%... is that bad??

I'm at 7.2% @stellabelle, do you think it's good at this rate or should I bring it more lower?
Thank you so much!
@progressivechef

um, I don't know your conscience or your situation. I just go with what my conscience tells me.

My conscience tells me to bring it to zero %. That's the goal i am setting right now, i always forget to untick the upvote my post button.
Will do it now for sure.
Thanks so much for replying!
@progressivechef

You're a natural.

That's a very good news @stellabelle that you are investing your money into steem and give your upvote to others keep it up :)

Hello Stellabelle :) Interesting post ! I might've been a lil late since the post I wanna talk bout is 11 months old, but I saw your translation offer post, and could I possibly translate this article of yours in Korean? -> https://steemit.com/coverimage/@stellabelle/hey-you-can-customize-your-steemit-cover-photo-now-short-tutorial-on-how-to-create-custom-cover

Congratulations may ur investment in stemmed double up or triple or I don't know go sky high, it's a good start when following what ur heart wishes to do , and I wish u all the best in decreasing ur self votes.

I have been meaning to engage more with the Japanese community, but I am already worn thin with the English one. I'll get around to it though, please share your Japanese account with me, I'll be there.

I'd also like to invest some money in steem but that would require money to invest. All the more incentive to kick ass here.

Also, I would usually feel guilty about spamming your comments with links to posts but I read this article 2 days ago that totally kicks ass and deserves more attention, please check it out, its not mine, til yesterday she was a stranger!

And I mentioned you in my last post which is not a big deal cause 20 people mention you a day at least. I think it's a good post though :-D

I am almost 2 months here on Steemit and right that being active and connecting to others can help yo keep going on this site.

Excellent write ups!

Great sentiment. It's sad, though , that the original premise of all being paid something to blog doen't always work. I was away for a while. When I returned, I found that some people I used to read had stopped writing as much longer new content. They wrote very short pieces. Then they used their substantial Steem Power to upvote their own posts. They make a lot of money daily. I'm going to give it a go again. But I make so much more money publishing Kindle books under different pen names. Plus royalties go on forever if you promote well. With Steemit posts, the rewards for a post decline quickly. Glad you are still here!
