I thought its time to introduce myself and the topics i will be covering here.
I live in middle of the forest. Huge interest of everything that can be taken apart especially mechanic and electronic stuff.
3 kids and wife and some animals.
Enough about that and lets get into the details on what will be comming up on this page in comming days or weeks.
Here you can see an earlier image of my propery and some of the solar panels put up! Currently I have a total of just above 18kW of PV power
I have last year spent alot of time on my DIY solar system. A system that easily can power a full home all the year around.
What you see above is the electronic system of this setup that powers my home.
Im using alot of home made solutions. For instance the master brain is currently an Raspberry Pi where I also have developed a grafan based monitoring and script system that do controll the inverters and chargers.
Controlling the system this way makes it possible for me to even though I am connected to the grid I can still go 0 useage and run 100% on the battery.
One of my batterybanks can be shown here. This one have just above 80kWh of storage power. LiFePo4 battery bank with 1000s of 18650 cells inside it :)
Processing 18650 cells is also important. here you can see alot of them :)
This is just some part for the solar.
I also have my own paint booth and a small excavator. Dont forget that I do have a car lift in my garage so alot is going on.
