The fox cheated the crow out of a piece of meat and was seen by the elephant.
The fox was triumphant and said to the elephant, "see?" Am I smart? "
"I can see it all. You are very clever." Replied the elephant.
The fox said to the elephant, "would you like me to teach you some tricks?" It's too hard to see you all over the mountains looking for wild fruit to eat! "
"that won't be necessary," said the elephant. "I have my own principles for survival."
A few days later, the fox played a trick of "the fox impersonating the power of the tiger", deceiving the tiger king and all the beasts, which was seen by the elephant again.
The Story of Little Wisdom and Great Wisdom
"you saw it again!" The fox said angrily, "but well, you can prove that I am really smart."
The elephant said, "Yes, I can prove that you are really smart."
Later, the fox went to steal the chicken, was caught and locked in an iron cage. The elephant also saw this.
The fox asked, "I'll show you a joke!" The fox said dejectedly, "now do you still admit that I am clever?"
The elephant told the fox, "I also admit that you are clever." However, you have only little cleverness, but you lack great wisdom! "
What the elephant in the story wants to tell the fox is that he is honest, not adulterous and slippery, and it has nothing to do with intelligence on the surface, but it actually contains the great wisdom of life; by playing clever tricks, he may succeed for a while, but he will suffer losses sooner or later! To be a man, you can't just be smart, but more importantly, great wisdom.
