Rumi door
Rumi Darwaza is also known by the name of Turkish door, which had been named after the great Sufi mystic Jalal-ad-Din Muhammad Rumi, the 13th century. This 60-foot high door was built in 1784 by Nawab Asaf-ud-Daula. This gate is an unsurpassed sample of Avadi style and it is known as the gateway to the city of Lucknow.
On this gate, a lamp was laid in the era of Nawabs, which provided illumination in the darkness of that era in that era. This place becomes even more breathtaking when the water in the shape of a bud from the fountains, beautiful in the vicinity of the doors made at this gate.
