Praise the Lord: He settles the childless woman in her home as a happy mother of children. Psalm 113:9

The Psalm 113 is a brief psalm of praise to the Lord for his infinite power, wisdom, glory, and for his spiritual gifts poured out to men. This Psalm is a teaching that the most important spiritual activity for man is the worship of God, because he is the one who sustains the world with his goodness. For if God is not worshiped correctly, man cannot be spiritually guided or blessed.
That is why the Psalm begins with these beautiful words:
"Praise the LORD, you his servants;
praise the name of the LORD.
Let the name of the LORD be praised,
both now and forevermore.
From the rising of the sun to the place where it sets,
the name of the LORD is to be praised" Psalm 113:1-3.
But then the Psalm continues and explains how this mysterious wisdom of God is manifested among men, and with a style similar to that of Mary's song in Luke 1:46-55, the song teaches that God lifts up and exalts the last and the most humble.
And at this point, the Psalm seems to be a reminder of extraordinary facts, the miraculous birth of the prophet Samuel who was the son of a woman who was barren, but whom the Lord blessed for her devotion; and also the origin of David, who was the last of seven brothers to be presented before the prophet Samuel. What seems impossible for men is possible for God.
This is why the Song ends in this way:
"He raises the poor from the dust
and lifts the needy from the ash heap;
he seats them with princes,
with the princes of his people.
He settles the childless woman in her home
as a happy mother of children" Psalm 113:7-9.
The song is a resume of what the true spirituality means, the fear of God (constancy, firmness, devotion, equanimity, and stability), the humility, and the obedience to God's law, everything else is simply error and idolatry.
