CUT THE CORD
There are enough and more things in a day that piss us off, cause us to react with anger. Consequence - we carry that anger with us. Which stops us from immersing ourselves in what we're doing, enjoying it fully, making the most of the day.
Now if we were to just step out of ourselves and analyze our anger, we'd figure that most cases, this rage is coming from our ego. Either we're not getting our ego massaged or it's been poked hard. And this temper tantrum is just the ego hitting back.
But do we need this ego? And who's benefited by this fit of fury? Instead when we start to bubble over with rage, why not take a step back and quickly check if it is our ego stomping around? And if it is - cut that cord, let go of that ego trip.
Ego is what keeps us from being true to ourselves, from living our life simply and just enjoying every moment. So let's choose joy over ego.
