  1. “Arise, O LORD, in Your anger; lift Yourself up because of the rage of my enemies; rise up for me to the judgment You have commanded!
  2. So the congregation of the peoples shall surround You; For their sakes, therefore, return on high.
  3. Judge me, O LORD, according to my righteousness, And according to my integrity within me.
  4. Oh, let the wickedness of the wicked come to an end, But establish the just; for the righteous God tests the hearts and minds.
  5. My defence is of God, Who saves the upright in heart.
    Psalm 7:6-10 (NKJV)

• You need to call on God to judge those who come as the enemies (Acts 11:8-11).

  • If you actually belong to God, when those who are influenced by the devil gang up and rise as enemies, and you call on Him, He will answer.
  • God would not allow His own, the chosen ones, to be wasted by those who have given themselves to the devil and being used as instruments.
GOD is just, faithful, merciful, and reliable!

• Truth:
In spiritual warfare and intercessory prayer, living a righteous life, holiness, cannot be overemphasized.

  • God is not haphazard. He is principled.
  • You have to walk with Him according to His lay down principles before He could grant you an audience or intervene in your situations.
  • Many think they can live a carefree Life and call on God whenever they needed Him, and surely received answers from Him.
  • Can you pray as David did in our text, that God should judge you according to your righteousness and integrity?
A GOOD NUMBER of believers cannot pray such a prayer because they are not living right and they do not have integrity.
  • If you do not live your life according to His Word, He also may not listen to you whenever you call on Him (Zechariah 7:13).
  1. “Then they will call on me, but I will not answer; they will seek me diligently, but they will not find me.
  2. BECAUSE THEY HATED KNOWLEDGE AND DID NOT CHOOSE THE FEAR OF THE LORD,
  3. They would have none of my counsel and despised my every rebuke.
  4. Therefore they shall eat the fruit of their own way, and be filled to the full with their own fancies.
  5. FOR THE TURNING AWAY OF THE SIMPLE WILL SLAY THEM, AND THE COMPLACENCY OF FOOLS WILL DESTROY THEM;
  6. But whoever listens to me will dwell safely, and will be secure, without fear of evil.”
    Proverbs 1:28-33 (NKJV)

WOULD you want to be judged according to your deeds—the works of your hands?

• God may allow the wicked to chastise His disobedient child, however, only for a while, the wickedness of the wicked will come to an end.
GOD will establish the just.

  • For He test the hearts (Psalm 7:9).
GOD has a way of testing the hearts of His own—those who are HIS.
  • And God saves the upright in the heart, He defends them (Psalm 7:10).
  • If you failed God’s test, you might not be promoted in your assignment.
  • If you do not prove responsible to God in what He gave to you, He may not entrust you with more responsibilities.
  • God will defend and save those who passed His test.
  • Those who are upright in heart will receive God’s help.
IS your heart right with God?

• God is JUST and RIGHTEOUS: "God is a just judge, AND GOD IS ANGRY WITH THE WICKED EVERY DAY" (Psalm 7:11).

  • The wicked is the person who lives in Sin.
THE wicked is not only someone who committed murder, or one heinous sin, but whoever lives in sin, the sin that you may consider as Small or Big; is a wicked person in God’s sight.
  • No matter how minute the sin may be, if you failed to repent of it, you habitually live in it, the Bible says you are a wicked person and God is angry with you every day (Psalm 7:9).
  • If the wicked does not repent—turn back and right his or her wrongs:
GOD will sharpen His sword, bend his bow, and make it ready (Psalm 7:12).
GOD also will prepare instruments of death, and makes his arrows into fiery shafts (Psalm 7:13).
  • Hand join hand, the wicked will not go unpunish except he or she repents.
  • What are the things that the wicked does:
    HE brings forth iniquity.
HE conceives trouble and brings forth falsehood.
HE made a pit and dug it out.
  • Note: Whatever the wicked plots will boomerang—such will fall into the ditch which he made (Psalm 7:14-16).
HIS trouble shall return upon his own head.
HIS violent dealing shall come down on his own crown—crown of his head.
  • There is judgement on the wicked.
GOD will deal with those who stand as enemies, a believer just need to stand steadfastly in God and do whatever He has instructed him or her to do.
  • Do not concentrate on whatever the wicked is doing, God will judge the enemy.
HE will fight your cause and you shall hold your peace.

• Learn to praise God in every season and time of your life.
PRAISE Him in every phase of your assignment: “I WILL PRAISE THE LORD ACCORDING TO HIS RIGHTEOUSNESS, And will sing praise to the name of the LORD Most High” (Psalm 7:17).

  • Praise AND worship Him in every situation and circumstance.
  • Note: At times what you are expecting might not come as you did expect.
  1. “Though the fig tree may not blossom, Nor fruit be on the vines; Though the labour of the olive may fail, And the fields yield no food; Though the flock may be cut off from the fold, And there be no herd in the stalls—
  2. YET I WILL REJOICE IN THE LORD, I WILL JOY IN THE GOD of MY SALVATION.”
    Habakkuk 3:17,18 (NKJV)
  • Thank God and appreciate Him for every result in the ministry.
  • What you want may yet come, however, praise and worship should not stop in your mouth: "THEREFORE BY HIM LET US CONTINUALLY OFFER THE SACRIFICE OF PRAISE TO GOD, that is, THE FRUIT OF OUR LIPS, GIVING THANKS TO HIS NAME" (Hebrews 13:15).
  • Praises draw God closer to you whilst murmurings keep Him away from you.
  • Do not allow whatever you are experiencing in Life or ministry steal your joy or affect your fellowship with God negatively.
  • Remember, God is faithful, He has done it in the past, He is able to do it again.
  • Trust Him. He is faithful. He will surely keep His Word, bring His promises to fulfilment, and hasten His words to perform in your life.

• Habakkuk said: “Yet I will rejoice in the LORD, I will joy in the God of my salvation” (Habakkuk 3:18).

• You will not fail in Jesus' name .
Peace!
