For what is useful the wisdom, the fool asks himself. The fool has no constancy in anything he does, and makes improvisation a way of life; the life of these people is a life full of shocks and unpleasant surprises. Although cunning allows ideas to be drawn from experience, it is not a science: "I saw that wisdom is better than folly, just as light is better than darkness", Ecclesiastes 2:13.
The bible describes the sinners in a very precise way: "They are darkened in their understanding and separate from the life of God because of the ignorance that is in them due to the hardening of their hearts." Ephesians 4:18.
Simple and common people look for money as a great good, but what use is it if we do not know how to make the right decisions with it? Money brings with it a serious problem, it creates a false sense of security. So just as you get, you can also lose.
Wisdom is both a science and a spiritual gift. As a science it is the knowledge of the correct means to live, the science of the last and first causes (Metaphysics, Aristotle) and as a spiritual gift it is the love of virtue.
Wisdom is the basis for correct decision-making and is beyond prudence, which is a virtue that attends to practical reason, wisdom is precision and accuracy: listen (perceive with attention), meditate with intuition and inspiration, decide with creativity and discernment.
The book proverbs explain: "Choose my instruction instead of silver, knowledge rather than choice gold, for wisdom is more precious than rubies, and nothing you desire can compare with her. I, wisdom, dwell together with prudence; I possess knowledge and discretion.", Proverbs 8:10-12.
Wisdom also brings with it something else, understanding. The gift of knowledge allows us to peer into the hidden of providence and the future, into the secrets of spiritual power. Wisdom allows communion with God and gives rise to the gift of prophecy: "Surely the Sovereign LORD does nothing without revealing his plan to his servants the prophets.", Amos 3:7.
