Spanish outlet Ok Diario claim a verbal agreement has been reached and the Colombia star is keen to join United this summer.
But, there could be one big problem - Wayne Rooney .
The report states there are contractual issues getting in the way of a potential deal and one of them is Adidas wanting Rodriguez to be handed the No.10 shirt.
There have been plenty of reports suggesting Rooney will leave United this summer but more recently it has been reported that he will stay at Old Trafford for another year to see out his contract.

James Rodriguez is not good for Manchester United, as they will already splash the cash for Alvaro Morata and Mourinho's tactics don't concede much to his dribbling and shooting skills.
I would suggest he moves to Chelsea, if he wants to go to the Premier League, as Fabregas will likely leave and he'd be a good replacement. Otherwise, Juventus in Italy still needs a good midfielder.
