The people of the nation remember the people of the nation, who sacrificed their mother tongue for the sake of Bengal. Even though martyrs day and international Mother Language Day are celebrated throughout the country, its heart is centrally located in the capital's central Shaheed Minar. In order to suppress the language movement, on this day of 1952, the then East Pakistan Government imposed Section 144 in Dhaka. Students violated Section 144 and processed the rally. The firing took place in the procession. Salam, Rafiq, Barkat, Jabbar were killed in the shooting. In memory of them, this monument is remembered. In their remembrance, the people came and paid homage to this monument. Pride-loving flowers swell with minarets.
