Yes, his content is very thought provoking and entertaining, but some of his conclusions are specious, city boy conclusions. His workouts are great for living in the concrete jungle ( and he looks fantastic) but the type of muscle he's building is basically useless for 12 or 15 hour days subsistence farming, walking a 15 mile trap-line or survival hunting and fishing.... He's got city boy muscles and city boy outlook... But I still really, really like his vids and I think Preppers should watch and support his work..... In the future I'm going to do a breakdown on some of the most popular YouTube Preppers. Stay tuned for some controversy...
Thanks again for your comments.
Very welcome, interesting to hear your opinions but have to disagree that he'd be useless at those tasks. I reckon he could run 15 miles faster than most people could run 10, physically and probably mentally stronger & more disciplined than the 99% and seems to me like he has a lot of drive & determination..

CP's muscle is not built for running. But I do agree that he's in fantastic shape compared to the 99%.
The Tarahumara are people who are conditioned to run. Moreover, they are conditioned to live a subsistence lifestyle because that's what they do.... Grinding out a living in Copper Canyon is far different than grinding out prepping videos in-between building a type of muscle that requires 4000 calories a day just to feed.... How many calories per day do you think a Tarahumara needs in order to run 75 miles?
I know what I'm talking about because not only have I lived the life, but I've done the research on what type of body build is required to subsist in the wild year after year. CP goes on wilderness trips. He doesn't live the lifestyle and to anybody who has lived it we know what to look for...

Hi folks, the REAL Canadian prepper hear. I have to clarify some things here. I'm not trying to sound full of myself because anyone who trains can do what I do. I run 10 KM straight 2-3 times per week 45- 50 minutes. A 15 mile hike with a heavy pack isn't even something I find challenging. This city boy was also a highballing treeplanter, one of the hardest piecework jobs in Canada, chopper in to forested cutblocks in the middle of nowhere (hundreds of miles from the city) to work for 12 hours straight in the sweltering heat, no matter rain, hail, bugs like you wouldnt believe, insane physical obstacles and oh yeah BEARS, lots of them, and oh yeah sleeping in tents not trailers (I DID IT FOR 7 YEARS). So I recommend you check your assumptions and I havent even brought up the fact that you uploaded my videos without my permission...
