Not all survival blankets are created equal. While the smaller Mylar blankets do have their place, they are nowhere near as durable as the larger survival blankets.
The bigger survival blankets are not great for bug out bags, but great for cars, light out kits and camping supplies. They will also be more durable.
Some Uses for Survival Blankets…
• Shelter (lean to)
• Reflect light to keep cool,
• reflect heat for warmth,
• a ground cloth,
• retain body heat,
• signaling,
• rain catchment,
• waterproofing (kind of),
• DIY back pack
