Thanks for the info, penns. I'm really not all that concerned about the EMP worry, UNLESS it were used as a cover for a larger and genuinely effective assault on our grids (very possible). Since above-ground and atmospheric testing were banned, there is no data on what the effectiveness of this type of weapon would be. It's all theory that even nuclear engineers can't even speculate on with any accuracy. It may be assured to knock out some satellite communications systems, which would not be good, but not a death blow. There is no certainty that it would take down the terrestrial power and comms grids at all... let alone catastrophic permanent damage. It would also have to be delivered and activated at a very specific altitude and position for maximum result, and we have seen no indication they have any such capability yet by the DPRK. YET; being the operative word here. They can't be allowed to reach that, by any means necessary.
BUT; if anyone is really worried about it, I have a very nice 1979 Mercedes 300SD turbodiesel that has been converted to run on WVO for sale.... there's not a single electronic circuit anywhere in it's drivetrain or control systems. 100% EMPProof!
The Novartis trials on the homeless don't surprise me. Those corporations are soulless.
Thank you, and take care!
Thanks for the comments @backstage. I'm no expert on EMPs for sure - all I know comes from reading One Second After by William Forstchen. That's a great read - not sure how the science stacks up in it though.
