Thanks for the reply (and following your posts now BTW :-) You are spot on. I remain "hopeful" this country can somehow turn around, but hope won't feed my family or protect it in an emergency - be it economic, natural, or geopolicical. A good motto to hold on to in any event is: "Hope for the best, but prepare for the worst."

He is right after Trump got elected people stopped Prepping, it is funny how people think there is a difference in the two party system, when SHTF has been planned to happen by both parties not just one. Elephants and Asses are screwing the masses. Prep for everything it is better to be prepared and not need it than need it and not have it. And even if Shit doesn't hit the fan, natural disasters happens all the time and when it does prepping for SHTF is the same thing as disaster preparedness.
